I don't think you realise that all actresses who take on a lead role bribe their costume director in order to look like Zhao Liying. I even heard that one of them tried to bribe Zhao Liying's stylist to pick clothes two sizes bigger. That scandal was burried due to one of the actresses bribing all news channels.

Also, can we appreciate how “realistic” the writers are trying to be. The FL is actually at a mature age (for that time) and not a 16 who knows it all. And we know she is mature because it’s her second life so it doesn’t feel like they are trying to sell us a female genius. Also love how she proactively approaches the ML and doesn’t let herself be manipulated.

Yes, I love that although he is young and handsome he still looks credible and imposing as a general. And he is emotionally intelligent too. He can read people and flex.
