There might be some hope of an epilogue being released! People on Weibo have been complaining about the meh endinv, and recently there have been scenes that were filmed but not in the show which have been released online.
The producer also posted on his weibo asking fans if they really want an epilogue and that he can arrange for it. Fingers crossed!!

If you haven't already watched it, you can try Romance of Tiger and Rose. Plot is different, but I think in terms of pacing and good balance of humour and serious plotlines, they're quite similar. Romance of Tiger and Rose also has a family aspect where it focuses on the FL's relationship with her sisters and mother, and the "antagonist" has a reason for being bad. Dialogue is witty too! I really enjoyed it!

Bahaha my sentiments exactly! I didn't like her character in Ashes of Love and I know it's unfair to "transfer" that dislike to the actress but I can't help it xD anyway I'm seriously liking zhou dong yu! I think she's doing a wonderful job. I thought the first arc was good but surprisingly, I'm liking the second arc even better! 2 eps a day really aren't enough lol
I am bursting with anticipation! June 17 can't come soon enough. The new trailer looks amazing. Just realised it's by the same director as Love and Redemption. Can't wait!!
