Someone please sit down with DMD and explain the true meaning of the word "comedy".....

I did like Tharntype - when I watched it like 2 years ago. That's not to say that it was not toxic or that the leads had a healthy relationship when they clearly didn't. There's a lot more that goes into enjoying a series as a whole than supporting every bad thing a character does. There are many villainous characters I've seen in shows that I genuinely enjoyed - doesn't make their actions justifiable or forgivable. I'm more concerned with the fact that there are many young and impressionable people who watch mature bls of this caliber and when they see people justifying the wrong actions, it's easy for them to believe that it is acceptable in real life when it isn't. What Wal did is considered stalking. Regardless of whether I end up loving or hating this series, it doesn't change the fact that he did a wrong thing. We can love or hate characters, but let's not defend their wrongdoings. Still, as you said, this is just my opinion and people are entitled to theirs. I just think it's going to take a little extra work for me to start feeling better about this character as a whole.

I completely agree. His behaviour right from the start was questionable. But it was somewhat excusable. What he did in episode 2 was, however, totally inappropriate and unjustifiable; yet, if you scroll through the comments, you'll find people dismissing his behaviour as a "caring friend". How appalling.

Hold on. Are my eyes actually working??! People are siding with Wal?!!! Like, did we watch the same 2 episodes? First episode, I understood him - he was completely right about how dangerous the world could be and I was glad that Guy had someone like that watching out for him. Then came the second episode where he snooped on his friend's phone, read private chats and proceeded to stalk said friend and follow him to a private meeting. Can we stop excusing behaviour like this? There is protectiveness that is acceptable - this is not. Not to mention that Wal seems like a self-centred and narcissistic person who thinks that Guy's entire world should revolve around him, he literally invaded a person's privacy and crossed a huge boundary under the guise of "friendship". Regardless of what relationship you have with someone, treating them this way is unacceptable. Which is why I was so baffled that people were defending this kind of behaviour - like WHAT?!?!? I really hoped Wal would end up as a supportive yet protective friend; but it seems like he's gonna go down the cliche toxic friend route. And regardless of how his character develops from this point on, I'm really already turned off by his petty display and I don't think I can look at him differently.

I can understand that. But I feel the only reason they inserted him into the series was because Boston - who was the main cause of all the drama - has kinda turned over a new leaf and they can't milk his toxic character trait any longer. Boieng is his replacement. I can get w that but it's just going to be so lame if his reasoning for fucking everything up is shallow because then it's clear that he was not much of a character and only a tool to drive the plot. And I really hate seeing tropes like that.

Also Boing just seems like a too random add-in. I hope they do something with his character instead of making him a random side with no purpose but to stir drama.

I can't be the only one who loved Dan and Nick together. Literally in any other scenario, I would have been rooting for them but my BostonNick ship needs to sail at all costs. I never thought I would get to a point where I would be rooting for BostonNick to be together; but the writers sure know what they're doing cause I'm there... I don't think there was a definitive turning point in regards to them and that's what makes it sooo good. It's the way Boston looked at Nick and how his eyes started becoming softer and sweeter as the episodes went by. It's just so subtle the way their relationship evolved from casual fucking to emotional codependence and never it hits how attached they are to each other until they can't be together anymore - they have the best relationship development so far imo. Still, Nick gave in so easy. I can understand because of the heavy pining that has been going on but bitch please. His desperation just negated his emotional speech in the prior episode lol. I can't say I'm really mad at this development though - I just hope Boston understands that he can't keep treating Nick badly just because. Unlike others, I actually have high hopes for Boston in terms of character development. I feel like now, he'll really cherish Nick and care for him (if he doesn't I'll murder him). Also he needs better friends. We all have friends who can be assholes but when everyone turns against a person who is clearly hurting, they're just making things worse for them. Friends forgive and friends support. What they don't do is shame them for having CON-SEXUAL SEX with another WILLING ADULT!!!

I honestly feel like Cheum is my least favourite character atp. She's just annoying for no reason and is always policing everyone else even though she's probably the worst of them. Always complaining without aim and getting angry at useless things - she honestly needs a hobby (she's that jobless lol).

On to TopMew. Top is an asshole - we all agree. And Mew is a better person than me cause I can never take back a cheater. Buuuutttt, this isn't how it's done. It is an entirely different situation to want revenge (which I'm all in for btw) and to manipulate someone's feelings. Last episode, it felt like Mew had some type of supernatural revelation of how he couldn't live without Top and was willing to sacrifice his pride because he loved Top that much!! Then some rando shows up and all of a sudden he's too big for it. Nobody deserves to be emotionally manipulated like that - especially not when he's trying to restart their relationship. If he's truly invested in being in a relationship with Top, then he should enter it with a clean slate - if he's not able to do that, then he should call it quits before the relationship gets anymore toxic. But, leaving their relationship status hanging in the balance and trying to inspire jealousy / "make Top work for it" is not going to do them any favours considering their already shaky relationship. He just seems to be making too many foolish decisions because he knows how much Top loves him. But no matter how much you love someone or if you feel guilty for your past deeds or like you owe them something, little things like those eventually build up and get overwhelming and not even your feelings can justify staying with them. Mew needs to do better before he becomes even more toxic than Top was.

Lastly, unlike most people in this comment section, I'm not mad at Ray. Doing rehab was a big step for him and while he was going through something so emotionally taxing, he found out that his primary support system was supposedly "using him". Yes he overreacted - he should have asked for an explanation before saying hurtful things but that's not how anger works in rl. He was feeling a lot at that moment and it was. absolutely realistic for him to act that way. Despite this, he still needs to get his shit together and apologize to Sand. And Sand needs to make him work for it this time. Too many times has Ray taken his anger out on Sand for him to be so forgiving. If he keeps giving in at the sight of Ray's puppy eyes, then he's truly a lost cause and needs lessons on standing up for yourself. I feel like the number one thing they need in this relationship is boundaries. Ray needs to stop using Sand as his emotional punching bag and Sand needs to stop letting Ray walk all over him. It's become a cycle at this point and it needs to stop now before it becomes the staple of their relationship.

Everybody is jumping aboard the Ray hate train but I'm just more concerned about this wellbeing. This is such self destructive behaviour and he needs actual professional help. I was initially thinking the pill bottle in the trailer was gonna be for Top, but the way this is going - plus the fact that they've established Ray's suicidal tendencies and drug problems - I think it might be Ray who tries to od.
Also, NickSand are such friendship goals and they have so much chemistry. I'm really looking forward to that kiss they hinted about in the interview.
I also just rewatched the trailer and noticed like a second long clip where Cheum is comforting what looks to be her brother. Like I already knew Boston wouldn't settle down, but I thought it might be this new person who changed him for the better. Also saw a clip of BostonNick skating together??!!? When is that happening lol!??! Also I'm kinda rooting for "Daddy Dan" cause he seems to actually want something other than sex from Nick and I'm scared that once Boston enters the picture again, Nick's gonna break Dan's heart because he's in too deep with Boston and has no self preservation skills...
And come on... Sand deserves so much better. The next episode preview isn't giving me any comfort because there was another huge fight RaySand had in the trailer and with only 3 episodes left, I don't think Ray has enough time to redeem himself after that fight happens. He's just done too much damage atp. I feel like they should either spend the remaining time in the series picking up the pieces and redeeming him (probably get him professional help too), or just keep him unstable till the end. But KhaoFirst confirmed that they were endgame and that makes me worried that their storyline could end up rushed.
Still not feeling TopMew 100% lol. Also what makes Top think he can just walk back in and claim to be Mew's boyfriend? Also inserting himself randomly into Mew's trip w his moms doesn't seem like the best way to get back in his good graces. He needs a better redemption arc imo.

Am I the only one who simply cannot comprehend how getting together with 2 different people on 2 separate occasions = affair???!! When I first saw the trailer I really hoped they would come up with a good strategy to handle it but apparently not. How can you see your SO chatting with 2 different people and automatically assume cheating. Forget siblings, couldn't they just be friends?! How absurd! Also, don't tell me that random extra Chene is gonna become part of the story cuz why?

Finally! We get to see Mew as more than dried wood. He doesn''t need to be a villain. I'm just rooting for him to be a person. Also, Ray is slowly but steadily dropping from my list of fave characters. Esp after the next episode preview - you can't eat your cake and have it too. Also Sand and Nick need to just hook up at this point - they're like the only one who deserve happiness lol.

Just watched the Pilot and I can't be the only one who thinks the acting is a bit stiff... But then again, it's just the pilot - hopefully when the trailer comes out, there will be improvements *fingers crossed*

Okay. Theory: What if the secretary - Aon - is the son of the tiger minder who was blinded because of Hia Yi. Maybe he's plotting all this to take revenge lol.

It's not like I actually want him to be a villain - in reality that would be cliche and unoriginal; however, I'm not feeling his character - maybe not enough backstory or smt but all his actions seem so textbook and I can't rationalize them half the time. The main problem is, they gave him a redundant bl personality to begin with and even then he always behaves out of character.... I feel like the only way to justify these inconsistencies would be if he was a villain or he was hiding some huge detrimental secret and even then, he would be the most predictable character ever

For me, it's Mew. Even tho Top and Boston are red flags - they have the makings of real complex characters. I feel like Mew is a very flat character and I can't connect with him enough to actually like him. I really hope the theories about him being a hidden villain are true cause I feel like it would add a layer of depth that I am desperately wanting from him as a character.

I feel like that's gonna change soon tho...

Why do I feel that this Saturday is the last good/sweet episode we get before everything crumbles lol.
