Yes this platform is to express opinions and I expressed mine. I didn't forced anyone to bend their choice. I came across many comments, most of them trashing the drama, it's story and saying they couldn't last even 5 minutes and some couldn't force themselves to see it for more than 15 minutes. Or they had to watch it at 1.5x. You dislike a drama that much, so you have to trash a drama on the basis of 5 minutes or a single episode you watched. The only people who are entitled to label a series as something, are the ones who have watched it till the end. Opinions are respected, when they come from responsible individuals. I gave my opinion based on the comments I encountered, don't know what you have experienced, and Iam not a person to become a fan of anyone to the extent of abandoning my sanity.
I have seen too many comments trashing this drama. If you don't like it, then this genre is not for you, don't leave bad comments about this drama and shoo away people who read comments before deciding to watch a series. Not everyone likes xianxia and it's perfectly alright, but don't trash a series that why Allen choose it. Wu Geng Ji is a pretty popular anime

I have seen li yitong since bloody romance, she can make you sad with her, weep with her or even weep before her, that drama left me in depression for weeks, I still can't get over the osts, since that drama, she is my favourite actress over many, if I haven't read the novel, I would be very happy that she is the female lead, but after reading the novel, I don't find her as Jiang Ruan, it feels like something missing, incomplete, something that doesn't sits alright. They shouldn't do this with ANY actress, if we're feeling hateful, it means actor has done the job well. I remember seeing a drama, where I was shocked to the core by the villainous and felt quite bitter when I saw her in a show, host asked her that people are curious if you're like that in your real life, it's been many years but I still remember her response, she said I take it as a compliment, when people can't differentiate between me and my character, it means I have done my job well as an actor, If Iam onscreen as someone else, and you still see my glimpse then it means my acting is simply not convincing enough.

It was nostalgic, such a dreamy scene. I didn't understood what He yan was implying till the boy explained the embroidery and then I went back and re read the scenes to piece it together, moon was always there when she was practicing sword and he sat there and drink tea, when he rescued her, when she was blind and told her that moon was beautiful, when she was practicing archery, when they sat and discussed He Yan, moon was always there, and he was her moon 🌙
First 6 episodes were pretty good. There is not too much political stuff, but more war and fight scenes so far,…
I think maybe it's how the character is, I was also puzzled at his acting and that voice, I checked his dramashe has such a long list of dramas, even longer than many popular actors. It's the start of 2024, we're only 1 month into it and this is his second drama of this year. I think it's too difficult for him to be inexperienced to the level of cringe, maybe it's director or this character is going to have a tremendous growth. But still that voice doesn't suits him, he was in joy of life as crown prince, it was not like this at all.

I liked liu yu ning in journey to love but here Iam hesitant, I don't like him nor I hate him, many of the times, reader has already imagined the character to look like this and if casting doesn't fits the imagination they don't like it, it doesn't has anything to do with actor himself or his skills, it's about writer who has wrote a character a certain way, so don't start fan wars casually, for me liu yuning doesn't matches with my imagination of xiao shao, it feels something missing, I hope it can clear the confusion (as many people dislike anyone who says lyn doesn't fits as xiao shao) , we are novel fans and want to see our favourite novel reaching it's full potential as a drama. Someone had recommended Aarif Rahman as Xiao Shao, and I also think that he fits the role of Xiao Shao quite well. If you have read the novel and watched him in Princess Silver, you will understand.
