I really enjoyed this season. I didn't compared it with season 1, as all our characters have matured and faced many storms. It was thrilling and intriguing. I loved the storyline, casting, directing and everything about it. Don't know why some people gave it a low rating, but it's ranking is quite good, so Iam satisfied

Moreover, the story has deviated from the novel. I have read some of it, but now can't predict any of it. But it's still very good and captivating. I'm liking both novel and drama versions

He hongshen is an incredible actor. Whatever role she plays, it becomes difficult to separate the role with the actor

You summarised it in a perfect way. That's what I always admired about this author, but here director, screenwriter and actors all did a wonderful job.

In a sense even Fu Yunxi is innocent. He is just uncovering the truths, others find uncomfortable and everyone is after his life. He doesn't know what she did was to protect herself. Hanyan is doing all to protect herself, she is threatened by his cunning nature and feels vigilant, sigh at this point she is doing EVERYTHING to survive. Chai Jing is following Han Yan's arrangements and has saw all her sufferings and stand unswervingly with her. Her relationship is with hanyan, not with fu yunxi, so to protect hanyan she is ignoring everyone. It's not right, but you can understand her, moreover she has no family, never had a family life, so she doesn't understand these bonds. You saw her questioning hanyan that I knew he had a daughter, but I didn't give it importance. How can she understand what was never available to her. The feeling of being an orphan after a loving father, and being an orphan all along, can't be compared at all. Moreover she locked Fu Yunxi's room and set HIS room on fire, not the whole house, nor where the baby girl lives. Although not right, and not agreeable, but it can be seen why she did it.

Chai Jing's fight scenes are so good. And she looks both beautiful and handsome in this drama. She has such clean, refined and lovely looks. She is a more skilled fighter than ml, she can't be an ordinary person, will we get her background?

He is tough, but still has a right amount of amiability in his eyes. You will not fear him or consider him brute, but will not try to trick him or take him easy either. It's such a complex look of power, intelligence, wit and gentleness combined

Sean Sun/ Chen Wen De looks so good as a general, and this is how I imagined most of the generals in c-novels all these years. His acting was the most convincing and captivating one to me.

Such a nostalgic drama. I don't know what was so special about this drama, but everything seemed special to me. I started it, because I didn't had anything to watch and then I was amazed. There is something magical in it. That's the only way I can describe it

She was so so good in gone with the rain

He hongshen looks young in this drama, in her early twenties. And she is really pretty though.

I didn't watched that snowy night drama, or her any recent works, she just fitted with my imagination. Ju jing yi, she plays too many good girl roles, I want to see her as a villain, a really bad one. For this novel, I just want a well fitted cast. My favourite cast is the one that fits really well with the characters and storyline.

They did well, by not projecting anything on young children.

Ah someone above mentioned she said her maiden family was all beheaded, the father was a hanlin scholar, the teacher was beheaded but the students are alive and thriving. So there is definitely a story behind it, and we will unravel it slowly in upcoming episodes.

At this point I am enjoying it as a separate story, because this story and execution doesn't seems...... bad. It's actually quite good. I can savour the novel later

In episode 4, it's revealed the fire wasn't much and can be put out easily, and fu jia discovered it, but fu yunxi refused to do so, instead put fuel to the fire and burned the house completely
