Cause of Kim Young Kwang? Hopefully it does not turn out like Model Family lol
Oh, when I mentioned Model Family, I mean more like "hopefully it does not turn out like a boring lifeless show where the characters are uninteresting, the story is not well written and the acting is not there as well" lol
Viewers who think that mom is bad really have no idea of how to think from a different point of view. Like is it that hard? They even explained what her thought process was and how she tried to raise him using tiger parenting so that he can become successful, sure she made some bad decisions but who doesn't, people get into fits and other stuff just for minor inconveniences they have faced in their life, so either the people unable to see why the mom did what she did have been too much inside their rooms or they just like to sit and be armchair philosophers by saying stuff that makes peter from family guy sound like Socrates
Awful drama, the synopsis was a lie, the main plot was got less than 20% screentime, rest was just awfully written filler plots that just overshadowed the main plot and masked it. This could have been a really good drama but poor writing killed all the potential it has, it was like you got a grade-A wagyu beef and then you decided to cut it into tiny pieces and throw that in lettuce and dump it in ketchup so you can get an awful final dish where you would be like it has beef but can't taste it or feel it's texture cause it is fucking shredded like mozzarella and dumped in lettuce and ketchup which completely masks its goodness, that is how this show is.
I'm in episode 4, and i am honestly failing to see the "perefction" everyone is gushing about. Maybe because of…
Don't have high expectations, the show is like a coke that is left out in the sun and has gone flat. Barring ep 8, it is just flat. So, you are correct to not see any perfection cause there isn't any to look at.
The part they have taken from the movie is well done and all the investigation and post-bullying stuff they have done is new and that is the part that lacks. I found the revenge part to be inconsistent and was dragged but for people who watched the movie before, that is the part that kinda kept the story going cause the rest of the stuff is already seen and imho the main strength of the movie was how they did not provide escapism to viewers from the bleak reality of how things usually go. Something that extends even the corporate world and the conclusion of the movie was really good. Here, I feel a bit lax due to the other stuff taking realism away from the main message and plot and helping viewers to apply for some medicine to the wound but in the movie they did not allow you to apply some medicine but put salt on it lol
Ahh people on MDL having trash taste and giving a drama low rating cause it is not their usual romance and fluff? Everything looks right, as it should be :)
This show is supposed to show the use of criminal profiling in the investigation, so it will be a procedural show that covers the focus of getting into the minds of serial killers to understand how their thought process works and solving the case by profiling their Modus Operandi and predicting their next steps. All the cases covered here are real-life cases and the procedure followed is mostly realistic of course there are minimalistic drama parts added cause otherwise, people would be like "the show is too boring ", etc, etc,(ah well, they already doing it, this kinda shows why adaptation of nonfiction needs drama fluff because otherwise, the people complain, complain and complain, voicing out why did they not add the unnecessary drama, why the characters are not doing comedy or crying and involved in some drama, etc, or why is there no romance,). So maybe, just maybe to be more appealing to everyone they should have added more drama in it and ruin the show and turn into your average thriller with nothing special to offer cause the attention is shifted to useless fluff, instead of the main substance. Personally, I really liked the emphasis given on the procedural part and it was fun to get into the minds of the killer, use the gained information to understand other cases and identify patterns and discover motives and understand the method of killing, and lay out measures to prevent it. That being said, for people who find this show boring, maybe go watch Dora the explorer, would be perfect for you guys.
There is a lot of romance in this show. You will see the romance between killers and their victims, although it's…
Just like the constant rejections did not stop the rich and hot oppa, being ugly and poor does not stop the killers and that is on top of the "No", "Stop", "Spare Me".
There is a lot of romance in this show. You will see the romance between killers and their victims, although it's strange and kinda disgusting but the killers are just like ML from romance dramas, they don't let "No", "Please, Stop", "Leave me alone" to convince them to stop their pursue.
Is it good? Give me some reasons why is it worth to watch^^ I'm curious of the speciality of this drama because…
This drama is character driven with flawed people and shows their struggle and how they interact with each other and how from an exterior point of view they look to each other vs how they actually are. The drama has fleshed out every main and supporting character in the story. All the actors have played their path faithfully, the conversations and the way they have acted has realism in it and the dialogues in the drama are well written especially the inner monologues of the main actors ( They are thought provoking, well written and it was directed in a specific way that is beautiful, the monologues overlap with characters in the show living their life showing how everyone is unhappy in their own way, how their struggles and ways of dealing those problems differ etc.) If all of these points I have mentioned click with you, then definitely watch the show.
