IDK why but Song Kang here is constantly reminding me of Yamazaki kento lol😭 honestly rom coms or fantasy genres are not my type. I rarely watch rom com dramas if I wanted to watch something light hearted. I was excited for this coz of visual power couple🤍 plot is not very unique, it's quite common & basic fantasy plot with normal typical kdrama type revenge twist. So let's see how it goes. & I think SK is doing rom com for the first time? That's why there are lots of negative comments here, tbh only 2 episodes are released so it's too early to judge and started hating it when the actual plot didn't even started yet. Give some time to it & after watching 5-6 episodes, if you feel something is off or you aren't liking it then you should judge it that time whether it's good or bad. Beginning episodes doesn't always decides whether the drama is good or not. Coz who knows we'll see some improvements or developments in later episodes and maybe end up liking it.

Lol I think you misread my comment. I was talking about taiwanese aka original version not Korean remake version. There is extra scene of original version which is available in youtube. It's complete closure of the original version.
About the points you mentioned such as taking nude photos of FL & then murder of that female bully, that's where the scene was built-up. It's not like the culprit randomly killed someone without any reason or that female bully took nude photos of FL with no reason, that will make no sense. The creators wanted to show how psychopathic & perverted that man is. If there were no sidestories of those secondary characters we would never knew reason behind their actions. Including how & why the other character was so obsessed with FL & wanted to kill her . Also about that female bully, it's natural if someone is extremely jealous & envious enough to do that disgusting act. Since bullying is very common in Asian countries, so creators thought to portray it. About the story build up I totally disagree coz in this version the story was properly built up, you can check out Korean version of this drama where story building was missing with no proper explanations. However, the other last two points you mentioned I agree with you. There was short backstory of WQS,only if it was longer it could've better since WQS has also important role coz his body was used by LZW while time travelling. & about MJJ's hearing aid, same here I also kept thinking how did it went there and there were no mention of that scene later. All I want to say is I think you've had high expectations from this drama, so that's why you were disappointed. Otherwise I respect your opinion.
It's not like if the theme is time travel you will love every drama (based on time travel theme) it's slow paced & ofc some people didn't liked it but where did you think it lacked? Will you elaborate the points? So that it will justify your opinion.
Watched it few yrs back after BOF which was my first kdrama & this one is my 2nd kdrama (I liked Kim hyun joong in bof so I decided to watch this one) can't believe I actually liked it back then💀 now I'm realising how toxic this story & main couple were. Especially seung jo ( here KHJ's character was totally opposite from bof) & his toxic behaviour was really horrible. I didn't get the reason why he was rude & such a jerk to Ha Ni?? He was a huge red flag. & Ha Ni is also worse & annoying character, literally no self respect & dumb. What did exactly she liked about him? He was always rude to her from the beginning for no reason, yet she continues to like him wtf😑so immature! she is such a carpet & pushover. I was cringing so hard while watching some scenes especially HaNi's. Her way to grab seung jo's attention was really giving me second hand embarrassment💀 this was another level of sadist & masochist love story. I think this is where I started hating tsunderes, I can't stand with these verbally abusive,toxic & jerk characters who are rude to fmls for no reason and I hate such immature, pushover & dumb fl characters who chase after such toxic guys even after getting verbally abused for many times. Idk about other versions but story is really toxic with no character developments so I've no plan to watch other versions. I really don't understand why these type of toxic & abusive stories were popular back then? Same case with BOF. So many adaptations were made but story is sh*t & toxic where it romanticized abusive ML & toxic relationships lol

Well, I won't say it has happy ending or sad ending. It has bittersweet ending. If you are planning to watch it now then do it. After finishing it, you should watch "todome no parallel" a spinoff of this drama where it explored what happened in those timelines after they died/time travelled to past. Episode 10 in todome no parallel is kinda episode 11 of todome no kiss coz it was continued from where original drama was finished, it was kinda happy ending. If you want to know the ending of drama or final closure of todome no kiss, you can watch only episode 10 (final episode)of that spinoff.
