Idk why it's a dating show but I'm really invested in their friendships lol like Soee x Hanbin "date" was so heartwarming to watch, he really understands and wishes her well. Soee deserves the world and I really hope she opens up to Sejun cause he's such a charismatic & refreshing character after the whole YoongJae history (I do believe YoongJae x Seoeun make more sense as a couple it's comforting watching them), but even if she goes home solo she will be loved by the viewers, esp now that she is being active as an actress (was so shocked realizing she was in The Glory with Song Hye Gyo :wowee:).
For the remaining couples esp with these dating shows I believe chemistry beats everything, people don't usually choose the person who treats them well or even ideal type at the beginning, so betting on only 2 couples: Seulki x Jinyoung (I love Jongwoo but he just seems like a perfect 2ML to me at this point which means he won't get the girl sadly) YoongJae x Seoeun (Seoeun is such a lovely character I can see her charm even as a female) Love Nadine & Sejeong but at this point I don't think they can match with any of the guys on the Island and I'm sure they can find better matches in real life, Hanbin too. Hope Jinyoung picks Sejeong to Paradise though as Jongwoo will surely pick Seulki next ep, Sejeong's eyes were so sad when she sent Soee away I felt bad..
Last but not least, just a shot in the dark but really hope they invite Jia as a cameo or sth I miss my IT girl, there's just something so charming and addictive about her esp on a Reality show lol. This season has obviously much more drama and cliffhangers but I honestly enjoyed the previous season more as the couples' chemistry was better and there were more diverse couples as well. This season focuses only on a few characters which I understand it's chemistry/editor's fault, can't help it but it makes the show a bit boring like we want to see other people too not just Seulki and Jinyoung (No hate to Seulki though, she seems like a nice person & obviously will be popular with guys) lol.
DID ANYONE SEE THE TRAILER FOR Ep.11-12? Dan Oh apparently is going to be the female lead, Baek Kyung's chasing her around in their love triangle with Haru, but then HARU IS GOING TO BE DISAPPEAR. GONE. Well quoted Dried Squid Fairy "he didn't disappear, he just came back to his real self". I read the webtoon + kinda foresaw this thanks to everyone's theories but this still hurts me... Our poor characters why everyone has to suffer so much? Also, I'm all for Dan Oh x Haru but I don't know who to root for when it comes to Ju Da's loveline lol. I was all for Do Hwa but the recent episodes showed that Nam Ju is actually different from Goo Jun Pyo, he's just a pure, awkward, caring boy towards Ju Da it makes me soft... Sorry for my ranting but at least I kinda accidentally translated Trailer for Ep11-12 here AND I CAN'T WAIT TIL NEXT WEDNESDAY I HATE MYSELF FOR WATCHING ONGOING DRAMAS seriously.......
Watched it then came back with a super unpopular opinion: ALL LOVELINES ARE SO CUTEEEEE HERE CANT EVEN. Dan Oh's expressions are so abundant and mischievious I think I fell in love lol. She kinda reminds me of me in real life but ofc no one thinks that's cute lol. This has so much potential but I can't wait.....
Rationally I would pick Hee Young all the way he's has been there for her all the time. But Sun Oh's hurting face is a huge bias wrecker... I am lost and Netflix ain't making me feel better with the releasing policy..
I literally bawled my eyes out.. I thought her long awaited reunion with her mother was the worst tearjerker, but somehow Judge Han's scene with his family and backing up Oh Reum, actually the "hoobae" judges, was the MVP of this ep omg.. T_____T
OMG finally a Miss Hammurabi appreciation post. Honestly I knew it's gonna be underrated as it's not centered around romance and the legal drama can be boring/unrealistic to certain people, especially civil law instead of criminal law related cases. However, I honestly admire and look up to the ideal offered by the drama itself, and how it voiced out the real cases somewhere out there, I believe representing the weak. The human relations here are so real. From cold-hearted pragmatic selfish tendency of human, the notorious misogyny side of Korean society, the unendurable pain, the blurred line between right and wrong, the weak and the strong, black and white, just and unjust to the wonderful heart-warming family relations, co-worker backing up each other, friendship, romance. I just love every character here so much, even the so-called "bad" characters as they all reflect the real society we live in! I'm so sad that there's only 1 episode left, I really wish it could be a long series or have season 2 etc, but that's just wishful thinking at the moment. T____T Please people, give Miss Hammurabi a chance, don't let the usual mindset of incompetent female heroine rule over you, don't give up from the 1st episode, you will grow with the characters I guarantee! Thank you so much from the writer, producer, director, the filming crew and of course, the amazing cast who delivered such a flawless drama (At least to me). Miss Hammurabi fighting! <3
I know people complain about Oh Reum a lot but I personally like how she is too righteous, and to be honest FULL of flaws. She is still fledged, she is too naive, she is impulsive, she is too sentimental and biased, and all of these flaws together help the plot develops and I enjoy seeing her slow but steady character development thanks to those around her, especially Ba Reun, as well as her changing others, also Ba Reun lol. I enjoyed this drama so much it tackled real issues we are facing everyday and offer a wonderful perspective about life. I would recommend it to anyone! 10/10 at the moment!
Subakba Jelly is my favorite! My life is dedicated to Korean Food to the point I cook them better than my own country's food lol. (Ofc my home's food is still the best). Thank you so much for organizing this Giveaway <3
I never thought I would say this in a K-drama but.. I really hope this one won't have any romance at all, or minor, really tiny smidgeon of romance, like in School 2013, Angry mom,... Honestly I see no chemistry between Geu Rin and both Suk Ho and Ha Neul. They look cute together and all but I just see no sparkle. On the contrary, their friendship, bromance, sis-bro reaction are off the roof. It has been a while since a K-drama I watch is more than bubbly romantic cliché so I really hope Ttanttara will stay as it is. I'm currently at ep.6 so I haven't seen much romance and actually am OK with it..
This will be so much better if the female lead wasn't so annoying. I understand that she has been through ups and downs and immense agony but it doesn't mean that she can just blame everything on her boyfriend. Watched this to the end only cause of the guys and their friendship, beautiful. The romance part, not at all. The chemistry between the couple was nowhere to be found.
Happy Birthday ! Love you for almost every roles you play :-* Please get yourself a "Mr" soon we fans can't wait !! >x< Though your cats are adorable :3 <3
Watched it because of Shu Chang :'( Love Tang Yan but she has appeared in so many dramas in this year and her characters are way too similar that it started to bother me somehow..
@Rebekah: Awwn you're welcome ;) Anw about the ending it's sad for some characters, it's positive for the main couples, but overall I think it was a brilliant drama :-*
