I think she heard something the night before the wedding, most probably her clan's scheming and murdering the King's family hence she thought that she's gulity as well. Oh, I think you need to read the thread. People here loves that King so much and understand why he's doing these things. He has his own reasons and people here sympathized with him. Also the "cheating" part was explained in eps. 8 (not sure what eps are you in right now).

The concubine won the king's heart through deceit. He falls for her and was doing his best to protect her bacuse he thought it's her that saved him when they were kids. He was protecting the small group that was loyal to him (brother, concubine, bestie) to the point that he's ready to eliminate whoever would hurt any of them and was even willing to sacrifice his own life.
As what some of the commenters here said, that the chef is the Queen's reincarnation or at least their souls are connected.
People here adore KJH sooooo much, so there's no need to get angry with his character. lol We are all King's fan club members here.

Me too, I can't hate him. We just love the king so much that we loathe those who's hurting and plotting against him. ahahaha. Unlike him, we viewers can see all sides of the story so it's easy to sympathized with one and hate the other. BI can only see the Queen's suffering and how she was betrayed by both sides and was left alone crying all the time to the point where she attempted to commit suicide. SY herself said that it's BI who's always there for her when she needs comfort. I guess the turning point was, when he saw the King picked the concubine and left the Queen lying on the ground when they both fainted, you can see the hate in his eyes. If the king can humiliate the Queen openly in public what more he's capable when in private.
Don't get me wrong, I am a heavy shipper of our King and Queen, and a member of the King's fan club too. lmaooo!
