Technically Byung In was not related to the Kim's clan because he was just an adopted son, so it's still okay.

I love how the memory of the former Queen and BH's merging slowly. At least the concubine knows her place because Mr. Queen's knows the truth now and she doesn't like the concubine anymore. lol. The Queen's now a member of King's fan club, thank goodness.

She won our king's heart through deceit, she's acting pitiful in front of the king but showing different color in front of the Queen. I think he loathe the king so much because of what he saw what had happened to SY after entering the palace. He'd usually caught her crying by herself, from being happy and sunny, she became depressed. SY herself said, that how come when she's sad, it's always him (cousin) that comes to her aide. She almost died in the palace before her wedding day and when both the concubine and the Queen fainted, the king picked the concubine and left the Queen lying on the ground (you can see how he hates the king because of this). And hearing how her own family will dethrone her because of her "mistake" probably makes him feel the need to protect her since no one is on her side.

His disrespect to the King rooted from the King's disrespect to SY and how he treated her (at first). The King is a very good person but because he doesn't trust anyone from the Kim's clan hence the barrier/wall he built between him and her, but of course there's no way for him to know these things. He only sees SY's suffering and her being helpless, so he's doing her a favor- to protect her at all costs, even to the point of disrespecting the king.

That's why I cannot hate the cousin, he's pushing the king to his limits to finally show his true self (he's 100% convinced that he's evil and plotting to eliminate the Queen).

Well for one, she's not the one who saved the king when they were kids. She took all the credit and even stole the book the Queen was hugging when she was still a child. The King protected her and loved her thinking she was the one who saved him, luckily our Queen remember everything now.

Thing is, it was written that Kim Hwan is SY's brother under the casts description. lmaooo! That's why both me and the op was confused.

Omo! omooo!!! The book the Queen was hugging when she was a child was the same book HJ was holding in eps. 8. Wow! The concubine changed/replaced it with her name judging from the looks of it! Ha!!!! The King was holding the same book when he's trapped in the well. Even as a child, concubine is pure evil! lmaooo

If it's about the memory when they were kids...apparently, it's not the concubine who saved the king when they were kids, it's the Queen. The concubine just took all the credit and hence the king falls for her because of that. The Queen now remember what really took place that time.
