Come to think of it, according to Kim Byung In's flashback, the Queen looks like she has a very bright and sunny personality. She's very excited to meet the king and would dream about him. Days after the Queen entered the palace, she changed, asked Grand Queen Dowager to let her leave the palace and when GQD refused she committed suicide (?).
It's either 1. she heard how her clan scheme and murdered the king's family 2. their current plan to deposed/kill the king 3. she heard everything-past and present plan. She decided to end her life (?) before the wedding day, to save the King and pay for the things her family had done.
