I'm just happy that JH is back and healthy, hopefully he stays that way. With a lot of stress and knetz being crazy most of the time driving actors/idols to their demise was revolting!

Truth is, I don't know much about the scandal, but heard it was health issues, but read somewhere that knetz reacted all crazy just because he refused to link arms with the FL during the press confference, not sure if that's true tho.lol

I only cried when Alberto died, that's it. lol I like CLOY but nothing special, imo. TIME drama is heart wrenching, oh goodness!!! I stopped watching when he died, there's nothing to watch after, ahahaha!

I haven't seen School 2017 and Waikiki but heard a lot of good things about them, I'll definitely check them out!

Truth to be told, Ramyeon scenes should be banned in all dramas.. LMAOOOO!!!! The next thing I know, I was already opening a packet of noodles at the wee hour of the day! The ramyeon force is too strong to resist!!!!

Is the KITCHEN scene necessary? YES, definitely!

I don't know why some people question the kitchen/cooking scenes and call it a filler. He's a top chef in the modern world and it's only right that he'd gravitate to the kitchen since that's his "domain", it is where his strength lies. He was using his skill to achieve his goal (to finally return to his modern self and get his DRAGON and DRAGON BALLS back, lmaooooo).

Also chefs tends to be really picky when it comes to their food, so it's just right that he'd make his own food if he's not satisfied with what they are serving.

True! He's the real victim here (although as of now, we don't know the Queen's stand) and was trying so hard to survive, swallowed his pride and take all the crap thrown at him. He was "sleeping" with the enemy per se and was always cautious not to cause bloodshed as much as possible.

His interaction with the Queen isn't really always hostile, there are a lot of scenes where he was finding reasons not to actually hurt her. He's giving her a lot of leeway and let her do crazy stuffs. lol. I love how he cares for his small group and ready to sacrifice himself for them. There's also scenes where he loves to have a skinship with the Queen. He loves her but doesn't trust her.

OMG I love JH in CLOY and TIME! This guy is amazing, great acting skills. I laugh and cried with him, such a brilliant actor.

Also, I love when both of them were together, it's either hilarious or intense! The "poisoned tea" confrontation was the best one.

Agree!!! I really don't think there's something going on between him and the concubine tbh, it is more as you said she's one of his trusted ally. He only has a few so he's willing to protect them with his own life.

I can't wait for next week, I think they are going to start with the "love line". yay!

Agree!!! The only thing that we know about him right now is that his family was murdered and he was planning to avenged them (which is completely understandable!). I think the writers will slowly introduced both the real Queen and King's story at the latter part. Probably, they will start the "love line" of the ML and FL's first.

He was fighting back to survive and to finally give the people a good King, it so happen that the Queen's family and everyone has their own plan and will definitely remove him when the time comes. He's their puppet, or so they thought he was, as they are not smart enough.lol He's actually protecting her in his own way. He could've killed her when he got the chance, but did not.

From eps. 1-4 there's a lot of subtle hints that he loves her but the trust isn't there, and it's understandable. The way he looks at her and the way he's always finding reasons not hurt her is all over the place. lol. They only see his hate but not how he's protecting her in his own way. If he really hate her, he could've killed her when she went on her "mini expedition" outside the palace that night and pretended that she was killed by a thief or whatever. lol

Although we don't know much about his character, we all know his backstory. How his family was murdered and he was forced to be a puppet King, given the same situation, I'd definitely be like him or far worst. Also, from eps. 1-4 he had no intention of killing her actually UNLESS maybe if he was cornered or something. But then again, as I said, I feel that he loves her from the start it's just that he's from the Kim clan. The king's facial expression and actions betrays him from time to time. :)

On the side note, their confrontation over the "poisoned" tea, was pretty intense! I hope to see more interaction from the ML and FL. I think it's either hilarious or intense, nothing in between. lol.

Based on the novel and cdrama, they will eventually develop feelings in the long run. lol. So King and Queen is endgame!

Not sure why some people dislike the king, his family was accused of treason (most probably, it's not true, imho) and was murdered/annihilated. He was forced to live outside the palace and was called just to be a puppet king. I would be mad crazy too, if it was me. He had no choice but to fight back.

I feel that it's not right to judge him right now, we don't know what really happened on that fateful night and the days prior to that. We can only see small parts of the flashbacks. From episode 1- 4 he was showing subtle feelings for the Queen, so I believe he loves her but doesn't 100% trust her because of her clan.

My theory is that, he really doesn't have any feelings for the royal concubine, I think they are just working together, but the concubine loves the king. As for the flashback, when the king turned around smiling, he was expecting it was the Queen, but rather saw JHJ instead hence the sudden change of expression. Not sure, just my gut feeling, so let's see.
