The Untamed will forever be the standard all my other shows must measure against. LOVED IT!!

That being said, I recently crawled (somewhat) out of a show hole after watching Under the Power, a cdrama with Allen Ren. Let me tell ya, that man is a cure for several ailments. That show was action packed, romantic, well-rounded with multi-faceted good and bad guys... I've watched it twice this month. Oddly enough, I found it comforting to get over this show by devouring more historical cdramas, of which there are a plethora to devour of late.

(FWiW-if you want to try an Allen Ren show, DON'T start with Autumn Cicada.)

I LOVE made Koi wa Tsuzuku. I don't know how many times I rewatched the credits for the song. Tears pool from happiness when it plays.

Other OSTs... everything in Ashes of Love was fabulous. I've almost memorized the words. Also, the Hong sisters shows' (Korean Odyssey, Master's Son, Hotel del Luna) always amaze me with their OSTs.

Another one was the opening credits for the cdrama Arsenal Military Academy, Soldier by Lu Hu. That song was freakin' sweet--fast tempo, heavy beat...kinda techno. I loved it.

Just came here to say:1. That first photo is my laptop's wallpaper ^_^2. Xue Yang is the best villain I've ever…
Co-sign, especially on the wallpaper. Did you know Chrome makes an Untamed skin for their search site? I have it on my work and home computers.

Congratulations on your convert! You always remember your first drama. A nod to Strong Woman DBS as well. I fell in love with the humor then the plot which sent me down a tunnel of k-drama crazy and into my new life. One of my favorites (if you don't mind time-period pieces) was Moon Embracing the Sun. That show was legit banana bread. Bread I straight devoured. Y'all, it has Kim Soo Hyun!

Some of my other favorites include The Master's Sun (or anything from the Hong Sisters), Oh My Ghostess, and Sungkyunkwan Scandal (which features the heroine from Healer!). If she finds she enjoys the period pieces, The Untamed and Ashes of Love were also fantastic! As was Eternal Love (and the more recent sequel Eternal Love of Dream). I'll stop. I've already said too much. But this article spoke to me so I HAD to stop being a lurker and register for an account.
