Things are getting bleaker by the second. I hope and pray that it will be okay. He was wrong this time but he doesnt deserve to be treated like a criminal and be witchhunted like this. It was 2018, a couple of years ago and he has probably grown right now. They say that cancel culture's goal is to educate but what is happening right now is just a flat out attack on him. Hi! Basically Zheng Shuang (the female lead) got in this surrogacy controversy. She and her boyfriend at that time were in a serious relationship and wanted kids so they opted for surrogacy. During the surrogate's pregnancy the couple broke up and were exposed for like cheating on one another (something like that, but it was messy) hence they broke up. The only problem is it is already to late to get an abortion since it was almost the due date of the pregnancy. An audio recording of the ex-couple's parents having a conversation on what to do was exposed on china's social media wherein in can be heard that Zheng Shuang's parents wants to "give up the children for adoption and not letting them find out" --when the recording was exposed people got mad and were saying that Zheng Shuang was irresponsible and abandoned her children. The ex boyfriend then left the country to raise the children in america but the two had very heated exchanges in chinese social media. In addition she is currently in a tax-evasion scandal and was blacklisted from the industry and brands dropped her.
