Should they have found actors who speak Japanese to play Japanese speaking characters? Sure. It would have given the show a bit more authenticity. But it's not uncommon for shows and movies to use the native language by default even when foreign characters are speaking. The worst is when one character is speaking the native language and another is speaking a foreign language (yeah, I'm looking at you Love Me If You Dare.)
That part of your criticism is valid, but the "with all the talk about Koreans losing their language ://" part is absolutely not. This is a Korean show that is based on what was actually going on when Korean was under Japanese rule. The fear of losing their language and culture were absolutely legitimate. Japan literally made teaching and speaking Korean illegal with the final goal of assimilation. Japan stole tens of thousands of precious Korean artifacts, the vast majority of which have never been returned. Japan committed serious atrocities like rape, torture, murder, forced labor, and human experimentation. Some of those issues still affect Korean-Japanese relations today, because Japan hasn't fully acknowledged the wrongs committed. It wasn't so long ago that a member of Twice was involved in a controversy for wearing a shirt that had something to do with comfort women. One is a poor choice for the production of the show the other is a portrayal of the genuine fears of the Korean people during that time period.
The last two episodes ruined an otherwise fun fluffy drama. Completely unnecessary drama. If they wanted to add some emotional conflict, they should have done something relevant to her being a fan girl or the gallery or pretty much anything other than what they went with.

1. I think he knows that Bo Ra must have some connection to Bong Hoon because otherwise she would not have known to use that name.
2. We don't know Bo Ra's connection to Bong Hoon, but we do know that she has a cell phone with texts from Yoo Chan that he texted believing it was Bong Hoon's and she also has a necklace that could be Bong Hoon's.
3. I assume Bong Hoon will be on the sidelines for most of the drama, but that he'll eventually choose Bo Ra otherwise they won't have a happily ever after as a couple. It doesn't seem like they're setting it up for her to be with Tae Joo.

Yeah, I didn't like that either. I hope she doesn't try to slip a wig on and pretend to be Bo Ra at some point because it feels like they're setting it up right now.
I don't think I've ever been ready to drop a drama only two episodes in. I don't know exactly what it is about this particular drama, but I'm having a hard time getting into it. I guess I'll stick it out a little bit longer because I really want to like it...
