Surprised this has such a high rating. Usually agree with MAL ratings, but not this one! It's not bad by any means but it's far from exceptional. First 3rd - Entertaining for the most part. Second 3rd - Bit boring & seemed to drag. Was close to DNFing. Last 3rd - Really cute & fun. I enjoyed watching these episodes the most. Ending was... okay. Think it would have benefitted from an epilogue.
I felt that the last few eps had some pacing issues but despite that, the drama was still good. Definitely a drama worth checking out - especially if you're fond of school or teenage romance dramas.
I was gonna post this as a review but realised it was more of an angry rant than a review so I thought I'd just post it here in the comments.

DO NOT watch this if you enjoyed watching the anime series or reading the manga. This film was a complete travesty with a bunch of bs that didn't make sense. Eren is even more annoying, Armin is just THERE and Mikasa... don't even get me started on what they did with Mikasa's character. (**She went from a damsel in distress who just relied on Eren at the start, to an emotionless bitch who has a thing with the guy who is meant to be a replacement for Levi but is much less badass than Levi and has a thing for apples and smiling randomly at Eren.**)
Random characters were added and had little purpose, (**such as that one mother/girl who made Eren touch her boob**), Zoe (one of my fav characters in the manga) literally annoyed me to no end in this. SHE DOESN'T EVEN KILL ONE TITAN and instead just orders other people around. No Erwin, just some old man who gets like 5 seconds of screen time. No Eren's mother dying, No Annie or Reiner or Berthold (although the colossal titan does make an appearance at the start of course.)
Sasha is here and I feel like she has more of a purpose/screen time than Armin's character tbh... even if it is just eating/fucking up/shooting pointless arrows.
The music for this film... stood out. IN A REALLY BAD WAY. The ending music just did not suit an action film AT ALL in my opinion and I swear I heard music which you would find in a video game at one point in the film when they were fighting titans... and it didn't get me feeling hyped at all.
I was so bored watching this film half way through that I just started messaging my friend and sending her random screencaps and telling her about all the shit which was happening. At least we got a good laugh out of it.
Honestly the only good thing about this film in my honest opinion was obviously, the special effects. The titans looked great and whilst the blood looked tacky at some points, there was so much of it and they didn't censor any of the violence which was one of the few problems which the anime had. The titan scenes were honestly the best parts of this film and if you are fan of the anime/manga, they're worth checking out and just skipping the rest of the bs and crappy plot line. It was clear that it was these scenes that they spent their entire budget on.
If you've never seen the anime or read the manga, this may be something you'd enjoy but honestly I'd say just skip it and if you're really curious, just watch the anime which is 10x better.

A great disappointment.
Acting: 1/10 (with the exception of a few, they were pretty bad. I honestly think I could act better than Mikasa's actress. Seriously. I really think I could. She was pretty much like Kristen Stewart - she only had 1 expression)
Music: 1/10 (as mentioned above - I felt like it didn't suit an action film and heard music which you'd find in a video game at one point)
Story: 0/10 (lol is there one other than "must kill titans"...? Maybe if you squint)
Overall: 1/10 (can safely say I'll never watch ANYTHING from this again. Even if it was the last source of entertainment on Earth or if it was between this and gouging out my eyes. I would not put myself through this Hell. AGAIN.)
TLDR: The film was utter shit. Avoid like the plague if you're an anime viewer/manga reader.
Really did not like that last episode tbh. I know that the romance aspect was not the primary focus of this drama but they could have at least resolved it. It just felt too open ended... although I think everyone is inclined to believe that in the end she chose Yi An. I just don't think their relationship fits though? Their relationship always felt brotherly/sisterly to me compared to her interactions with Taekwang but whatevs. Good drama none the less, despite the huge plothole that no one checked the identity of the body? Like wtf. xD
