Being in love doesn’t have to always be about wanting someone just sexually, this isn’t supposed to be a mature kind of series, rather a light hearted high school love kind.
I’ve watched many series where the actors have no chemistry when talking but kiss like pros.
I read a comment that explained the reason why there haven’t been any lip kisses ( them being 17 at the time of filming) however I can’t be sure weather that’s the reason.
I want to throw a question out here. Why is a kiss on the lips such a significant thing to see in shows? Is it a sign of love? Sure, maybe. I understand that it is for people.
But I would much rather watch a series with great lessons and value than one with a mid-plot just to get to the characters being all hot on each other.
There are many ways of showing that a character loves another without intimacy, and this might be a stretch, but a character like Tinn is the best example of that.
I get it, intimacy is a massive part in a relationship for some but i like this innocent way of showing teens in love more.
Edit: to be more clear, I’ve seen a few people in the comments saying the leads are more like a “bromance” and for me it’s a laughable statement to make at best.
The commenters dismissed the characters confessing that they liked each other, kissed each other on the cheek (hands as well), flirting, doing things for one another that friends or best friends even wouldn’t do, would you do ANY of the things a character like Tinn has done for a friend? Not me…but they’re friends just because they didn’t kiss on the lips.
It’s obvious that some people aren’t watching for the plot and to each their own.
It’s as if it has become a sin if characters in a series DIDN’T kiss, which is bizarre to me honestly.
At this point, I really want them to kiss. Enough with the tease pls 😩✋

Every character is a complicated one but the one that frustrated me the most in ep 4 was Wen. He is able to give great advice to Jim on how he should listen, understand and communicate with Li Ming, yet can’t seem to apply that same advice to Alan and tell him that he doesn’t want to be in a relationship with him anymore to in a clear way.
Yes maybe he insinuated to it when they argued in their apartment but in Alan’s head it was just that Wen is becoming distant, Not that the relationship has ended. Maybe that’s why when Alan went to moonlight chicken to confront Jim, it was because he felt cheated BECAUSE Wen didn’t tell him “I’m breaking up with you” probably.
I don’t know, it might be me that got pissed off a bit. Perhaps I don’t understand how relationships such as this one work but i guess it’s to show how life and the relationships we have can crumble on one hand and blossom on the other.
Damn the parents really don’t let heart go anywhere outside nor do they take him with them, they fr went out to celebrate with friends and left their son at home, why? Are they embarrassed? No wonder this boy drinks alcohol.
I don’t like this ho behavior from wen, if your not happy in a relationship then leave. Don’t stay and cheat.
The amount of understanding, support and communication these high schoolers have is truly mesmerizing. I get such a lovely feeling i don’t know how to explain it but it’s a warm and tender.
Tinn truly solidified what it is to love someone, my favorite part of ep 10 is when Gun thought Tinn left but NO.
This Series is one that will never get old, at least for me.
My god, this show truly set my expectations up for a lot of things like family, friendships and relationships.
The relationship with Gun and his Mother.
The friendship between the group. Standing with each other no matter what.
And last but not least the Relationship between Gun and Tinn (now adding Sound and Win).
Yall ever just wanted someone to lift you up when you’re down, not because they want something out of it but rather because they want you happy like Tinn does with Gun, you know instead of constantly wanting intimacy and being selfish about the relationship. This man has worked his butt off to keep the club, get them to hot wave and supported Gun because he loves him so much.
He went as far as helping out at Gun’s mother’s shop, get him an audition, was worried about Gun’s mother, inspired Gun musically and so on.
Folks, this type of love is indescribable, i honestly don’t know how to put it into words.
