Yes I did. Last year. The novel came out in 2016 and the latest novel from Jung Eungwol and as you expected, it's the author's style to create HE in the story. Same with Hong Chun Gi too. Hehe. Idk what will the scriptwriter do to the drama though, i hope she will follow the original for the ending. :)

Well if you say Yoojung's character is the same as her previous works, then you have to say to all the actresses out there too because every one of them literally playing the same characters especially for the female lead roles. And at first you say the female character is irritating, then the next thing you say Yoojung's acting doesn't impress you at all.. perhaps, it's you who don't like her at the very beginning, not her character. If the character played by your favorite actress, I believe you will love it because that's pretty much what people say when they watch hong chungi regardless if its yoojung or not.

Ah yes.. that's your opinion and that's fine... but i dont think her character has no depth nor typical sageuk female lead... she holds the key from the very beginning... it's only 4 episodes and she only appears in 3 episodes, surely we haven't seen her as the first female painter of the Dan Dynasty which is her supposed to be character. It will happen in the coming episodes.
I'm a fan of the original novel so i was looking forward to this adaptation since the first time sbs released the news, and when the time has come, i wasn't expecting so much because somehow adaptation was always far from the original,.. And yes, this one too.. but in a good way! Like i really love it! The novel has 2 volumes and somehow slow-paced but the drama is really fast-paced! There is no boring moment and every episode has very thick story. They give you everything even only on ep 4.. its easy to understand because they create background story in the first episode so there is no flashback that will confuse you. The cinematography, the music background and the acting... everything is top notch!!

Yes, BR has so many potential.. BR is healing drama, not something out of ordinary like so many people here complaining about for not giving strong plot... so many dramas gave the strong plot but it didn't end well tho..
This is probably the only place that has so many toxic comments from toxic people, like how can you judge this drama when its not even aired?? and for the plot, the director said himself that he wants to make a drama that many people can relate in their daily life, he recalls the scenes from his previous drama (Fiery Priest) that the convenience store can be a place for everyone's story...so this is basically slice of life just like many dramas nowadays.... you don't have to get serial killers or stalker to make a drama has great plot lol...if you want it like that, just watch different drama, there are tons of it with so many villains that you can choose lol..... and for the record, don't compare this drama with other's upcoming drama with totally different genre! you can hype your favorite one but that doesn't mean you can insult other drama to make your point valid.
