The first half was pretty boring, but there's a major twist in the 2nd half so things got a bit more interesting then. There were a few really good scenes in the second half as well as the story takes a turn. That being said, I think the writing was a bit messy overall.
One of the few rare dramas where the second half is better than the first. I liked the conclusion, but there were times during this drama where I had to shut my brain off due to ridiculous scenarios...which kind of defeats the purpose of watching a mystery/thriller. Anyways, I loved the scenic shots of the ocean. Also, that major twist blindsided me.
Family drama makjang with a bit of gender bender twist. I enjoyed the comedy. Unfortunately, the plot slows down significantly in the 2nd half, but that's kind of expected for this type of genre.
If a kdrama becomes Squid Game hype theres a possibility for a second season. You know that this won't get a second…
In that case, the ending is frustratingly realistic. But for kdrama world, its hard to believe they'd end it like that. You never know, sometimes it depends on the network.
The ending was disappointing for me, especially from a revenge perspective. I'm hoping a 2nd season will give the series a proper conclusion. Other than that, I loved it. If you like business dramas, this is worth checking out. This drama might require a lot of brain power in order understand the financial jargon.
Evil twin + twin swap + contract relationship. Nothing special about this except for the steamy kisses. If you're going to watch it, don't watch the youtube version. It's been condensed and they added some mismatched piano background music.
I was able to predict the entire story from the first episode. Nothing new or special. Episodes 1-13 were all backstory and could've been done in 4 episodes. It gets more interesting from episode 14 onward. The last 2 episodes were incredibly draggy though.
The story had potential, but the editing was so bad, it made this drama very difficult to follow. Also, there was no reason for the 4th wall break moments.
It gave me warm and fuzzy feelings and then heartbreak. It's basically like having second lead syndrome the whole time and hating myself for it. This movie felt like an homage to Korean second leads. They really felt like OTP, but I can see why it didn't work.
The English title is both leading and misleading at the same time. I thought this was going to be simple or stereotypical office romance. Boy was I wrong.
It was okay if you're looking for something mindless to watch. I enjoyed it until the villain and that whole story arc started to take more precedence. The villain was incredibly lame and it really dragged the story and ruined the drama for me toward the end.
Is there a love triangle, or cheating like from the main characters? I try to stay clear of dramas like this?
No cheating, but both leads get cheated on by their ex's in the beginning. There's barely a love triangle. There's an SML who likes FL, but it doesn't really complicate anything. He's just relegated to supportive friend since he knows his position.
It was a solid drama for me until the last 2 episodes. Then it got very absurd and draggy. The main thing I disliked was the cartoonish villain, but I guess they decided to keep things simple. Other than that, it was a decent action comedy.
