I'm not defending anyone just pointing out it wasn't a polite comment like you said. He also derailed into personal insults and started talking about feminism which has nothing to do with the initial topic, I don't know about the other comments but I just wanted to point out that this particular thread was moving past the topic and turning into trivial insults. I also agree with you that we should wait for her backstory before making any judgments.

Sorry to interject, but how was that a "polite" comment? You opened by saying you could tell he was a guy just from his writing, and implied he was one of the misogynistic commenters out of nowhere. His first argument had nothing to do with the gender and was a pretty neutral read about the character itself. That being said his second reply derailed into personal insults about IQ and jabs at feminism, so you are both not exactly blameless here. Instead of arguing about who is more biased and throwing around labels it would be more useful to stay on topic as both arguments about waiting for the backstory first before judging and the imbalanced portrayal of loss between male and female characters are solid and raises good talking points.
Only thing buggin me isβ¦ How tf he got that full recording of his conversation with the secretary to an extent…
after all of that the mighty soonyang goes down over a recording somehow made on a flip phone 20 years ago stored in a plant pot where the secretary conveniently didn't hang up the phone call so that the antagonist can confess to his crime ππ
