I love how this drama covers cases related to what has happened and what's currently happening in the real world, especially in their country, of course. Dramas are one of the best ways to raise awareness, interestingly, by grabbing the attention of both domestic and international audiences (i.e. on the Netflix platform). Some solutions might look a bit glossed over (for example, the 'adoption at court' episode), but the main aim of [Pro Bono] is probably to bring light to the problems and incidents themselves, and to plant hope for a better future. So far, the flow of the story is intriguing and allows viewers to connect with each case presented. /ᐠ˵- ⩊ -˵マ
E08Actually, that Korean law was declared unconstitutional in 2024 (or was it 2025?). The National Assembly was…
Thank you so much for sharing these valuable information as always~
It would be great if you could compile your comments in the "Discussions" topic, so that we can preserve it for when viewers want to learn more about the references of the cases. This is just my teeny suggestion, cuz what you've shared by far in the comments are extremely knowledgeable and insightful! ദ്ദി◕⩊◕ )✨
I don' think it's one sided love from Ah Li, it's more like to him she's his saviour, his "pusa " (god),…
Thank you for the detailed explanation, Mocha~ ^^
Yes~ He was living for revenge's sake before, and was just wandering all alone by k1lling. I'm sure you're also right about him facing certain mental issues. It's a miracle he's still sane and didn't go berserk, unlike that Sect leader..
Agreed~ There are little lessons for us to learn if we look closely! ^^ It would also be wonderful if we got to see Hong Ye and Bing Zhu become allies later on. I'm sure our strict Feiwu guard leader finally sees the 'truth' about human nature, and slowly lets go of his negative prejudices about demons. He doesn't need to let his guard down or change his views entirely, but I hope he now understands that not all demons are cruel, and not all humans are innocent... :3

Tears just gushed out of my eyes during that scene.. Personally, I'm happy for him. He had been alive without actually living, just like a shell. Hong Ye mentioned to him that he had repaid his karmic debts by saving 1000 lives. The madam also pointed out that good karma was planted in him when he ate the offerings.
ep 8, the sector couple, how does one lose their cultivation and mind go crazy/astray and become a demon? It doesn't…
I wonder if he practiced an unorthodox cultivation method to cure of Madam's heart condition..? 0.0? That could also be the cause of losing his initial cultivation, and also led him astray...

I also think the same~ According to the flashback, with her words of encouragement, Ah Li was able to let go of his grudges and started saving people from that point on. Instead of rejecting and abhorrent to him, the madam made him believe that there's still good in people.
It's not a matter of like or dislike anymore. You're just blatantly spreading hate and negativity.
Your words are contradicting yourself even in this single comment. Let me quote your derogatory words towards the actors and actresses, PLUS your unreasonable statements indicating your hate towards them:
Your statements betray your so-called impartiality. You may sprinkle in a few 'kind' words, but it doesn't mask the blatant animosity in your comments. A truly unbiased viewer wouldn't spew vitriol or shift blame onto unrelated parties for their own attitudes. If you genuinely hold no beliefs, then refrain from pretending to have an opinion.
In conclusion, I encourage you to reflect on your words and consider a more respectful approach to discussions about actors and their performances. Engaging in constructive dialogue is far more productive than perpetuating negativity.
It's the college canteen, actually, and there's only our group left.. So yeh.. And~ I'm sure they gave up before even thinking of shooing us away...🤣🤣🤣
