There were some theories about the actual ancestor being Shen Shao Guang herself.. Who knows, maybe it's actually her. Since it's time-travel, we don't know how the timelines work, and also another question is, how were they even able to go back in time? What's the role of that ice butterfly in the beginning? Maybe the ancestor they've been worshipping (the wife I mean) could actually be the future her that had already travelled to the past once, and the current Shao Guang still hasn't reached that part of the timeline...

He's a maniac, but the way he slaps the truth right at her face is gold 😂
