Idk what ML was thinking in ep 13. Absolutely cold blooded, ruthless with how he dealt with Fang Lei, did not…
I wonder if people like him will change even after going through some kind of retribution of sorts... ?🙃 It's as if he's playing house.. whether it's with Yan'er, Hao Chen, or that annoying Fang Lei.. ugh Someone needs to smack some sense into him!(ꐦ •᷄ࡇ•᷅)
Her grace and decisiveness left him confused. She owned the room on that one.
Yeah~ There's also another victim here; it's the young Shen Hao Chen. He'd be so dejected to learn the truth later on... The boy's already showing signs of depression(?) in the previous episodes... *the drawings*

Oh, I think I missed that one. Not in the video I shared, too.. Here, he blabbered on the long list of benefits XY will lose if she actually chooses to divorce, but she didn't care at all... saying she doesn't need them or want them, cuz they weren't hers all along..
I guess they just can't get off their high horses.. and people like them don't really care much about the person whose status is beneath them... like "how dare you climb up here?"... Maybe? 🥲
Yes, you're right. I guess most people who approach him before are more or less like that, and that's why he can't fully trust Xu Yan, and her love & sincerity towards him. And I do think he knows to a certain degree. As he's a meticulous person, be it work-related or personal matters, he would've looked into that person. But yes, those are all just data on papers, not particularly her true self... Hopefully, he comes to realise that he was wrong about her after all.. :')
