Well she made me watch City Hunter and we both hated it, so hopefully we'll learn from this xD
Gonna watch My Fair Lady after this, and I have hopes.

Ah, I had no idea.
Ahhh Bridal Mask was one of those that got better and better. It was ridiculously cringe worthy at times, really annoying how people held back but boy did it sure have amazing cliffhangers! That's another thing about City Hunter: the cliffhangers were hilariously bad. The cliffhanger for one of the earlier episodes was a guy shredding paper <3
The only reason I know about Gumiho is because it's on Netflix. I may give it a look one day.
Yeah I'll be sticking around for a while. I'm currently kinda being guided by Ashu / picking up whatever looks kinda cool on Netflix, so it's pretty swell.

I kind of saw that when I wrote a non love filled review for Tokyo DOGS and Don't Click (though don't click didn't end up too badly after all).
I'm not quite sure why it's so popular. Did it have a lot of hype or was it just because of Min Hoo? I'm not overly into the drama world so I don't know who's super sexy popular and who isn't (except for Joo Won, because he's super sexy.)
I watched Ghost a little while back and I'm really surprised that isn't so popular.
people who strictly judge every thing about drama , story , characters & all that stuff . seriously why are…
But... isn't that the point of a review?
Not that I believe it was "strictly judging" but rather "criticising major faults".
I've only seen a few Korean dramas, but none of them have been as unsatisfying as CH.
"We watch them for cuteness above all" What was cute about CH? If you're talking about the unhealthy relationship (that is rather common in dramas) then... okay :(

I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
I tried to add a little comedy to lighten my disappointment with the drama, but it seems like people like it too much for whatever reason :(
Wasn't very good at all :(
I'm not sure how people can survive being shot in the chest and miraculously heal like it's no big deal, but drama, right?
I would've been in awe if Nana had died way back when, or LYS had died at the end, but we can't have that :(
Did anyone actually feel any sparks between the forced Nana X LYS relationship? Did people actually enjoy the forced hot and cold, back and forth? I'm genuinely interested because it drove me insane.
Nana: "I'm seriously never going to love you / going to leave forever if you don't say there's a chance for us."
LYS: "..."
Nana: "Awh fine, I'll love you anyway."

I really liked the anime of itazura na kiss. I saw like 5 minutes of the Taiwanese version and didn't like the main character, so turned it off.

Maybe it'd be better suited to a drama :(

I saw your post in the film discussion thread and I have to watch that movie.
Why isn't "The lead female was very obvious as a girl." a negative for 2007? I thought she was painfully obvious - even I'd be gay for a girl like that.
I remember loving TTBY in the first few eps too. But I hate the fact that Sano is a something like a celebrity…
As opposed to being swooned over by everyone, being regarded as a big shot (ex) athlete, chased by (annoying)Hibari and having a photographer stalk him in 2007? It's the same thing, isn't it?

http://mydramalist.com/korean-movie/1666/a-cruel-attendance Is awesome, you should totally watch it.
I've never been a huge fan of point of view storytelling - i.e. blatant lies because the person telling the story is telling a fake one. The only film I've seen that has done it really well was The Hole.
This was pretty mediocre, but enjoyable.
I understood it, but it never really explained what happened to the son. I assume he was real and not a part of her story, but I guess it was just shunned.

Tokyo Dogs was pretty average.
It was funny but with Shun being a total Mary Sue, Maruo being ignored for... I have no idea why - and him being an awful officer...
Bleh.
It had many problems, but it was entertaining.

He was better in Hana Kimi.
I'm watching Duelist atm and it's kind of all over the place.
Weird unlikeable editing, poor plot / editing flow and unnecessary Benny Hill-esque comedy :(

I doubt anyone could beat the Umeda from 2007.
