From my interpretation of the movie everything was sincere but Youngwoo got so hurt when Jaeha said it was all act at the press conference that he used the so-called method to avenge his love. At the end you can see him in the car, he is neither satisfied nor content (which he would have felt if this was only acting competition since he definitely won) but more like sad and empty, heartbroken I wonder how Jaeha would have acted if his girlfriend didn't pick him up at the end, would he have chased after Youngwoo and started anew? Just thinking about it I'm going crazy, what a genius movie really
