Dropped after watching about 80% of the first episode So boring (and it shouldn't be considering how short this is) and the acting is painfully bad Just saw clips on twitter and I'm actually glad I dropped this
yeah I think ep 9 was my breaking point I skipped like 60% of episode 10 because I'm tired of watching this Hyunjin's realization doesn't even feel romantic now that it happened only because she didn't wanna lose him completely. I'd say his moving out should have been the wakeup call but I guess not
the AI intro should have been enough evidence that even the production team didn't give a shit about this dramaI…
I get the whole ML feeling guilty and avoiding FL thing, I truly do. But I don't understand why the fuck the SML would feel entitled to involve himself in THEIR family matter and act like ML's dad being a piece of shit was his fault? It wasn't ML's fault that FL got hurt and he immediately went to save her. He quilte literally WAS able to protect her and even got a restraining order against his own dad. Like what the fuck else was he supposed to do? I'm starting to be confused. Is the writer secretly team SML or something, because why do they keep pushing so much of these lovey-dovey scenes? It was okay in the beginning, I guess because yk FL is single and she didn't really think ML was into her like that etc. But it stopped being cute after ML literally told her how he felt. Like that was the point that SHE was supposed to make a choice. Either turn ML down and keep the relationship strictly family, or tell the SML to stop pursuing her. Ep 9 pushed all the responsibility of this relationship suddenly on the ML, while in reality it's not like she was being clear about her feelings either. If I was the ML, I'd definitely think that me leaving her would be in her best interest too. She obviously isn't turning down this first love of her's, who is honestly an incredibly good package (rich, handsome, loves the FL). so I would probably think that losing me wouldn't be such a big deal to her.

Intriguing yet confusing. Left me wanting more. I feel like after the last episode I still don't know who she was. I guess the point was that neither did she.
unfortunately, I do think this show would have been much better if the premise was that everyone was attracted to all genders and the contestant knew that from the start. I think it would have been much more interesting to watch. Also a lot of the challenges were made for the hetero couples. They definitely could have made games where it wasn't about strength but would still be fun to watch. These games were just very singles inferno aka. trying to be sensual, although it was clear that e.g. Kong was not even slightly attracted to the women, so pairing him with women just defeated the producer's point of the game. Might as well have made them build a sandcastle or play tag or something.
I'm sorry but the traditional kdrama clichés just don't work as well in 12-episode format. Most of the dramatic plotlines felt ridiculous because it was just too fast-paced. It was different when you had 16 episodes to flesh out characters. I didn't feel anything with the parents' case coming to light because it was ridiculously obvious who the main villain was. And I normally don't mind semi-obvious or even very obvious villains if the rest of the drama is at least somewhat unique or engaging, this just wasn't any of that. 8/10, wouldn't rewatch but would recommend for my mom if she is bored.
I LOVE THIS but also going insane daily after finishing the episodes and wondering what's gonna happen tomorrow btw can anyone explain to me why they are deciding to raise the netherbeasts? I really didn't understand or I missed something. Like I get the villain shouldn't have that army but is having them inside one's body the only other way ??

skipped through 30 episodes in a few hours and my brain hurts I'm glad I didn't invest more time on this because wow what a mess this is I was truly intrigued in the beginning because the whole knife thing they had going on was very kink coded and I was expecting a passionate main couple, only for them to be very boring and tame... Personally, I hate being misled with kinky tension for minimum payoff, but of well, it's a cdrama. The rest is painful to even watch ngl. Did the writers have a stroke or did they just put stuff on a random generator and decided to do every plotline at least twice? Like there are only so many times that I wanna see a character have amnesia or almost die and then be miraculously saved. The sister drives me crazy, I get she is young but oh god how dumb can you possibly be? One thing to marry someone who doesn't love you, but another to go to this kingdom with 0 knowledge and leave your entire family when NO ONE asked you to do that?? I'm surprised how positive the ratings are, so far this drama is really not that good. Sure the leads are attractive, but the chemistry is nothing to write home about. Fl being a badass truly did make me want to watch this in the first place but even that loses its charm pretty fast. It's not like there hasn't been a lot of other better dramas where the fl is a fighter. IMO I wouldn't invest 30+ hours of your life on this.

It feels like half of the plotlines weren't explored to their full potential because I truly forgot at some point why the fl even hated her parents. I understand that she was neglected, but I find it hard to believe that she went no contact to the point of changing her name, and the parents still got a redemption arc.... Also the Haochen parent plotline and the sister's ex. And imo the fl bounced back way too fast after resigning. It felt like she struggled for two seconds and suddenly she had a majorly successful business.
this week's episode was so fun :'DDD I definitely didn't cry so hard that I couldn't see my screen .... and I'm definitely not still crying .... .... see y'all next week
