I honestly would have preferred her just being so addicted that she left her fiancé. At least that would have made this original, and also made her addiction a little more of a serious problem. Now this is just giving Love Next Door with alcoholism.
What's up with recent kbls having nothing going on for them except miscommunication and misunderstandings? No plot or charm whatsoever. Min Jun was the ml but his acting was so one-dimensional, I was getting fed up. He looked pissed off in every single scene, even the ones where he was supposed to look sad or conflicted. This was an utter disappointment and boring as hell.
So far I'm pretty amazed at how much Thai productions have improved. I wouldn't have even dreamed of anything this good like 6 years ago. I wish the bgm was a little less on the nose, but other than that, this was enjoyable. The sets look great, and the camera work is very nice. Acting is good and the English convos were tolerable, unlike in many many higher-budget kdramas I've seen. The story is honestly the star of this show. I can not wait to watch a prince x royal guard romance, like I am eating this uppp.
ps. who the hell plays pocky game irl though???? I wish they had done truth or dare like normal people lmao
yes 60 is fat for some people and why you are this crying like if trying to be fit and healthy is bad.. if you…
when did I say going to the gym wasn't good for you? Of course being active is good for everyone. MY point was that the fl is nowhere NEAR fat and it is wild to act like she is. Also having some fat does not equal being fat?? That a normal weight. You are just mid size aka. a normal human being.
27 minutes in and I'm dropping this shit Korea is kinda cool until they speak about people's appearance/weight like it's the big year of 2025 and they STILL think a woman over 60 kg is fat??? genuinely fuck this drama, I don't need to see any more of this
The comments seem pretty harsh, but I did actually enjoy season 2 a lot. This was definitely not the same level as season 1 (literally, most second seasons never live up to the hype of the 1st). As a non-webtoon reader, I thought the story was mostly coherent. Although there were quite a lot of characters to care about, I still felt like the story and the relationships were heartfelt. Overall, I would still say that this was a good watch and a pretty good continuation from where the story was left off.
2 episodes at a time??? I feel spoiled omg. This was great. Honestly, you know the bl is really hitting when the emotions feel believable, not just the nc scenes like even every cute little giggly scene feels so genuine and adorable. And the angst is working. I am obsessed with this drama.
They need to start showing CJW's side of the story because I can't root for them to be together before I know he isn't an a-hole. So far this is just a nightmare of getting two-timed and then having to work with the cheater 8 years later. This is just uncomfortable to watch. And tbh the acting doesn't seem great either.

not everyone needs to be lean and muscular

and honestly, it just seems like she 'likes' him because he likes her
(I've seen 9 episodes so far)
I haven't been this obsessed with a thai bl in years
