2 episodes at a time??? I feel spoiled omg. This was great. Honestly, you know the bl is really hitting when the emotions feel believable, not just the nc scenes like even every cute little giggly scene feels so genuine and adorable. And the angst is working. I am obsessed with this drama.
They need to start showing CJW's side of the story because I can't root for them to be together before I know he isn't an a-hole. So far this is just a nightmare of getting two-timed and then having to work with the cheater 8 years later. This is just uncomfortable to watch. And tbh the acting doesn't seem great either.
the only difference here is the he breaks up with her (as far as I’ve seen from the trailer and spoilers from…
Yeah I thought he did something and that is why she broke up with him. He just looked too happy to see her for someone who would have initiated the break-up but idk.
So far so ... okay? I am itching for something new to watch but this story does not feel original in any way so far. I'm still continuing and giving this a proper chance to wow me, but yeah.. I have seen this story multiple times already (aka. they were together when they were young, ml adores the fl and would do anything for her, but the fl breaks up with him over some issue and/or misunderstanding, and they reconcile and get together again years later).
Warning for anyone just about to start watching: the new episodes have incredibly bad subtitles to the point that it is almost impossible to keep up with what is happening I know some Chinese but it is a struggle to watch this
well this was very meh had its fun moments in the beginning but that's kinda it. Not memorable at all, except for the potato theme I guess. the sml and the whole cheating plot annoyed the hell out of me and this truly felt like it was written by a cheater, judging from how much they were trying to make us feel literally any sympathy for the guy. Like??? He ruined her life, married rich, and still had the audacity to not even treat his wife right. And no I don't feel bad for Hui Jin either, she knew she was the homewrecker and didn't give a fuck because 'she loved him so much', get the fuck out lmao. I did not vibe with FL but even less with the ML at the end, if I'm being honest. Like how are you gonna be buddies with a guy who cheated on your gf in the past? Well whatever. On to my next kdrama when they finally air something watchable again.
grandma's redemption arc was ridiculous she needed a serious wake-up call, like Ju Yeon getting hurt or something to make her realize he is her last and only family. No one who acts that disgusting for years changes their whole worldview after a few words... They should have at least made her less horrible if they were going to redeem her. but yeah other than that this was a fun little feelgood drama

and honestly, it just seems like she 'likes' him because he likes her
(I've seen 9 episodes so far)
I haven't been this obsessed with a thai bl in years

I'd recommend waiting for better subtitles
