I didn't realize this was only 23 episodes... I just don't get how Wei Zhi's parents think that controlling all her life decisions for her is somehow gonna make her closer to them. Like lmao no wonder she didn't tell them they were together. If I were her, I would have waited to tell my parents until I was married to the dude.
this is such a mess but I am addicteddd I kinda feel like Jaemin and Suhyeon are both insane enough to kidnap Daon. I don't know which one of them it actually is, but I am assuming some "you and I are dying together because no one else deserves you" - type of bullshit
bc y'all are looking at it wrong. there's no higher power cursing someone lmao it's just a condition of the universe.…
well... imo I am not looking at anything wrong just different. In my opinion, this drama was just poorly set up. You can do fake 'realities' well, unlike here. It makes basically no sense that there just exists an unknown amount of people who are fated to make the opposite sex die or get hurt from proximity but the general public just doesn't know. I find it a little too unrealistic. They should have leaned into the fantasy of it since they didn't bother writing any reasons for these people's existence.
I'm four episodes in and considering dropping this because, literally, in what world is the main lead not attractive? I'm probably commenting on this too early, and this does have a good message or something, but it's just kind of weird how she is supposed to look unattractive when her only fault is dressing poorly.
Snowboarding as a central theme seemed a little boring imo, but at least there are many excuses for skinship. This seems like a pretty fun watch so far.
I don't know if I should blame my current mental state for this but I wish I had enjoyed this drama more than I did. I found myself skipping a lot and just overall wishing more depth from San Yang's character. I know Wen Yi Fan is the main character, and her getting through her trauma is the central focus but San Yang just feels too unreal to me. Idk maybe I'm just too tired of real life to even be able to pretend that a guy like him could be real. It just feels like everything about his existence was a plot device to make him the perfect boyfriend for Wen Yi Fan rather than to make him a believable character.
I'm not a huge fan of the running away plotline or the pacing of the past 10 episodes, but I do think her trauma makes this make a lot more sense. I wouldn't blame her for needing time off to grow and heal. I wish she hadn't felt the need to do it alone, but it makes sense for her character. I hope the next 5 episodes don't disappoint.
Ngl I thought this was gonna be like a fucked up little love square when I started episode one and now I'm like...????????? what am I watching??? this is insane like I wasn't expecting two villains but I'm hooked and can't wait for the next episode
this is goofy and cliché and I'm loving it because it seems like the drama is self-aware they know what they are going for and they are doing it pretty well this is hitting the tropes, the angst, and the nice bickering between the leads No this is probably not going to be a groundbreaking drama but it's exactly the drama that I needed rn
I wish I hadn't finished this in a day but yeah this was entertaining. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as I had hoped but this was still a nice way to kill time. My problem is that these 10-episode dramas tend to lack focus and I think it's kind of the same problem here. There are too many central characters, thus the focus is all over the place and the characters end up feeling hollow. It feels like we ended up only seeing glimpses into their lives, which may or may not have been intentional, but it really bothers me because it takes me out of the story. The second couple ended up feeling empty because there wasn't enough time to go through their backgrounds and lives in detail. Obviously one of the things that brings the watching value of this drama a lot higher, is the actors. This cast is great, thus I don't think the issues in this drama stem from the actors. In my opinion, there just isn't much chemistry between Choi Woo Sik and Park Bo Young. They are both great actors but I'm not feeling their romance as well as I'm able to feel their relationships with their families. I initially came here for romance but I'm not gonna lie, I think the grief and living with it - parts were the best thing about this whole drama. I think the best scenes of this drama weren't even between the leads but between Ko Jun and Ko Gyeom and between Mu Bi and her mom. In conclusion, this is somewhat worth watching but nothing memorable.
I was apparently too desperate to watch anything, so I didn't drop this (yet). I'm a sucker for some angst but my GOD this is boring. The scenes aren't interesting and the main leads are suffering alone. Like I truly do not get why Asian countries love the trope of 'not telling my partner what I'm going through, so I don't bother them'. Why are you even together if you don't tell your PARTNER the stuff that's most important?????

I'd actually be more surprised if Jae Min actually left for real

I unapologetically love this silly little drama
I hope the next 5 episodes don't disappoint.
