I don't know why people are taking the piss at Dae Young. All he did was support his friend and wanted to help him get back on his feet. And like he said, it's not easy to open up a whole new clinic from scratch (let's not forget that Jeong Woo paid millions in compensation when he was going through all that court ordeal) with little to no money left to his name. And as a concerned friend, he just told his friend to help JW to reconsider. That's it. Not like he told JW to dump his girlfriend. And not like he even know who the gf is or how much she is struggling. And on JW's defense, he didn't name names. Hong Ran also said DY didn't know who his girlfriend was and just thought Ha Neul is JW's close friend.
And as for HR - she did say that she didn't know whether to mention it or not. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
And let's be real, the cost of living in Korea is mad high! From the looks of it, JW is not receiving any financial support from his family. DY is probably just concerned how long he is going to last in this economy. And even though a rooftop house doesn't seem that bad in dramas, in real life it's pretty bad.
Plus typical K-drama plotline... Breakup mid series - CHECK! âď¸
As for Ha Neul, she is probably soooo independent and used to handling things on her own, it's hard to let people in during her worst. Common in strong women. I'm sure JW will still be there for her and make us all swoon in upcoming episodes. â¤ď¸

I used to think that PSH is very good in melodramas but completely suck at plotlines involving romance but after that cute date in episode 8 I totally take my words back. I don't know if it's due to her growth as an actress or PHS is such a charming person that he makes her feel totally at ease - because their love story is totally believable and if she wasn't already married I would ship them together! Haha.
Ba Da is such a cute little brother. I wish that I have one just like him.
My only concern is all the drinking these two are doing WHILE on anti-depressants!!!! Hello writers pleaseeee stoppp. Why are you trying to kill our leads.
Kyung Min is sketchy. I feel he has something to do with this whole thing and is just pretending this whole time. But maybe the writers are just trying to make us be suspicious of him.. IDK. But if I find a camera in my friendâs office I wouldnât wait 2 days to tell him. Even if itâs some kind of prank or unrelated to the case - just suspicious.
Still loving the show so far. Love PHSâs character and all the side characters. Never been a big PHS fan so I can unbiasedly say only he can play this role well. He does it without much awkwardness even when heâs portraying an obnoxious competitive teen.
Probably not going to happen but Iâm rooting for:
- Dong Jin & Hye Won - Da Hye & Chang Jin (or someone else)
I really like Sang Jeong so I hope she finds her happy ending too. At the moment I donât feel much for the other contestants other than maybe JuWon? He seems like a standup guy. Hope he finds his happiness too. Kinda liked his interaction with Sang Jeong during their first date but seems like they didnât interact with each other at all after that.
My dislike for Kwang Tae has been growing with each episode. The guy needs a class on boundaries. Glad he was put in his place by YJ. I feel like the only reason he accepted that scolding was because she is younger than him. He seems to drop people the minute he finds out they are older than him.
Before watching the full extent of the candy drama I too thought it was not something to cry over. But having watched the whole thing I do get where HW is coming from. It might just be a piece of candy to some. Yes, it probably is not a big deal if youâve received dozens of other gifts to cherish but that was THE ONLY gift he has ever given her throughout their entire relationship. Even if it meant that he âwanted to brag about itâ he could have just bought a new packet of candy instead of sharing that exact one. And he should have at least consulted her about how she felt about it (as he wasnât sure before - and he took advice from the worst guy possible) knowing that it held a special meaning to her. Also letâs not forget that even though HW acts all mature she is actually very young still. We donât get to judge what holds a sentimental meaning to some and what doesnât. Plus in the beginning (when he first received the candy) he said that it held so much meaning but now that he has started to like someone else suddenly he has forgotten all about it. Anyway Iâm glad it happened. It gave her the nudge she needed to move on. I kinda like her with Dong Jin. I hope theyâll give each other more chances.

Still it was a personal gift and THE ONLY gift he ever given to her so it was something that she had treasured. That was HER piece of clothing/ jewellery/ item as you put it. Just because it was in the form of something edible does not make it any less personal or precious. He could have just bought another bag of candy if he wanted to brag about it so much.
Anyway Iâm glad it happened because it seemed to help her to move on. I think she looks better with Dong Jin anyway. Might or might not happen but Iâm rooting for them.

Yes, I think he is one of the most sincere contestant. I too donât think that he meant anything harsh by calling the message âspamâ. A poor choice of word but the message she sent that day really did not have much meaning to it. And as someone who has been on a reality show before, I can tell you for certain that the editing team did not show the full context of what he meant to create some drama.
Kwang-tae keeps touching all of the women on the show like it's a completely casual thing to do......
IKR. Itâs been less than a week since they all got to know each other⌠The way he kept touching YJ when she was clearly uncomfortable gave me the ick.

I was thinking either they have not been on it yet because they wanted to introduce the new guy that day and there wasnât time for a third date or that they might air it in the next episode.
Perhaps an unpopular opinion but I actually like Dong Jin more than crowd favourite Kwang Tae. He comes across as someone who is super genuine. Kwang Tae is a bit too touchy feeling for my liking. But after watching that interview on the ex-introduction I guess I get where he is coming from. I can understand his vigor to meet someone new and him being proactive in getting to know someone new but he is always touching one of the girls and that weirds me out a little because they all barely know each other.
As for Dong JinâŚ. I guess he isnât being honest with himself or perhaps not realising yet that he still has feelings for Da Hye. Heâs going to end up like one of those typical guys who only know that he still cares deeply for him ex after seeing her pursue someone else.
I really like Da Hye and her 2 adorable roommates- a bit more than SK and YJ. They too have their own charmâŚ. So I donât know why the guys are sleeping on them. Sobs. I hope that they will be picked for dates in the next few episodes.
Still unsure who Chang Jinâs ex is. But it does seem very likely that itâs Yu Jeong because she really tensed up since he came into the picture.
Loved the first 4 episodes and canât wait to watch the rest. The show is totally relatable (to me) on so many levels that I teared up watching the mum saying that all she wants is a healthy daughter not a successful one.
