The love story was very charming and the chemistry between the two leads was great. That should have been enough for a good rating but I ended up feeling rather unsubtly manipulated by the Chinese government - the first half was a blatant promo for Honor of Kings and the second part (especially the final episode) was a cringe making puff piece for the Chinese space industry. on reflection the characters were ridiculously perfect but the actors’ charm let them get away with it somehow!
It seemed to me that Jeong-Mok was very interested in Yi-Do but was also looking for a long term relationship and when he found out about her privileged background (I can’t remember exactly but wasn’t she talking about popping over to New York for Christmas or something and elite private schools) he didn’t think it would work - he said we live in different worlds

It’s airing on Viki at the moment with English subs - one week to go before final episode - I am completely obsessed with it and finding it hard to watch anything else, so quite understand you not being over it! So beautifully done
