Title Our Universe
You're exaggerating about the Male Lead's screen time. The 2ML has a lot of screen time, but it's still less than…
If Hyun Jin's life and love story was the main plot, then this would have made sense. Unfortunately it is not. The main plot was about the two raising Woo Joo. But the story has far side teacked from that, focusing on her Love Triangle, and what was supposed to be the plot ended up being the plot device. This story really DID NOT need an uncomfortable stretched love triangle plot especially when its just 12 episodes.

Title Our Universe
Is it a hot take if I said if the fl and ml's role would have been reversed no one would be defending the ml ?…
I think the reception would be even more sympathetic towards the female lead. Like the poor girl is left alone to fend for the baby while the male lead is reminiscing his past romance. The male lead would be called a red flag and trash for ignoring the baby and letting the girl do it while he is having the time of his life.

And I think majority of the people are angry not because they are sympathising with the male lead, but they expected the story to be of two different people trying their best to raise Woo Joo by tackling challenges along the way, and not the FL's triangle which is taking up too much screen time and being dragged on unnecessarily. Like the story is Woo Joo's universe and each episode the story is becoming less about Woo Joo.

I heard people says it's a sad story. I think it's the opposite. I think this is as happy a real story as you…
Totally agree with you

I have watched this drama. But I don't remember it at all. Like not at all. I saw some clips to see if it will bring back memories but it didn't.

I get the hype for hyung gyu... I like him. But I cannot stand his manipulation. He acts as if he doesn't care but you can clearly see how he falters when he feels threatened and start being overly assertive on others. I personally don't like to call that a game play. He is so full of himself sometimes which makes me feel that he should learn a lesson. People are comparing him to light yagami. No he is not. I find him more like kira who thinks everything is on his control. Kira started witha 'good' idea but towards the end the power took control of him, he became restless and we all know how it ends. It feels like hyungyu is going on that path. i am not saying he should be eliminated because there are much more deserving to be eliminated (like kyuhyun). But I really feel like he should get a reality check in the game like going to prison so that he can stop being cochy thinking that he can manipulate everyone.

This was absolute great. I was so impressed by how seamlessly they showed the two storylines parallely. I saw saw many people commenting its slow, BUT, this kind of pacing is nature in a noir-thriller film. Its frustrating to watch Yeong Ha slowly losing his shit because of Yeong A. But thats the point. The story painstakingly make you experience the turmoil that he goes through and eventually decides to let the hell break loose.

Its actually good writing. The character Seong A was so great. As in I really wanted to smack the hell out of her towards the end. The character of Seong A is a crazy psycho with a powerful backing until her father decided he cannot take anymore of this monster. So many people cannot fully take in the character because they might be looking for a reason behind the craziness. No. There's no necessity for a reason behind someone's craziness or psycho behaviour. And that's what makes them dangerous. They are unhinged, unreasonable and can burst anytime. Seong A was such a mental character and Go Min Si portrayed it with all the madness it required.

There was a time when I did felt the story lacking. The disconnect between the past and the present after Gi Ho killed the serial killer and met with Yeong Ha. But I am glad they finally drew the circle towards the end.

I really don't know how to put in words what i feel about this series. If I am looking at things individually, I liked it. But when I look at it altogether, its mostly a mess. I mean it was like they wanted to say a lot, but didn't know how and where to place them.

Title The Atypical Family Spoiler
Here are my thoughts about the ending
So, it was a happy ending. Glad about that, but I personally wanted more and was not satisfied with how they ended. The things I liked are how both the mothers binded, the friendship between the sisters BDH and DDH's sister, the intended romance between BDH and the uncle, and the new kid Bok Nu Ri. But I really wished they could have shown his son bringing him back a little more. And DDH's reaction when she sees him was...underwhelming for me. It felt like she just saw her husband who came from another country to surprise her and not like she met her husband after he went missing for 5 years. I can't explain how they could have portrayed the scene to give off the longing, but this wasn't it for me. And then it ended. And all I could think was 'That's it?'
And though this was not needed, I really wanted to see th bonding between Ina and Nuri.

On Strong Girl Nam Soon Nov 30, 2023
I never thought I will post such a big comment, but here I go. First of all, my honest opinion about the drama, NOT so great. It had a lot of FLAWS. But thats not my focus here. To all the people saying Ryu Si Oh deserved better and Nam Soon did him dirty, OPEN YOUR EYES!!!! Like I get it. He is hot and great but his CHARACTER is NOT. And to the people saying he is a victim of past, he was tortured as a child, yes that is true. And those of you say Nam Soon did him dirty by giving trust and then breaking it, and that she could have tried to redeem him, come on guys!!! SHE IS NOT A THERAPIST. She got close to him because he was a ruthless druglord killing people without a second thought. By hook or crook. And for thise people who come with 'BUT STILL...'. not even for once has he shown any remorse or even second thought about the things he do. Like killing people and selling deadly drugs. And no, RYU SI OH DID NOT LOVE NAM SOON. For him, she was more like a priced possession that he was OBSESSED with. He WANTED her for his own use when he saw that she had power. And honestly what reason did NAM SOON have to even try and redeem him? That he was tortured in the past? NO! For them he was just a drug lord with no conscience. And yes, you CANNOT talk sense into someone who only thinks about killing people and had attempted to kill her family multiple times. 'If only she had tried to make him realise and blah blah blah...' No I don't think thay would have worked. Because he was way past that point. And these kind of thoughts are what makes you get into toxic relationships. 'I can fix him', 'I can make him better', get out of your Wattpad world people, because nobody would change unless they themselves want and if you had analysed Ryu Si Oh's character beyond his hotness, you can clearly see that he was NOT ready to change. To bring down a bigger evil, sometimes you have to get your hands a little dirty.
And to point that out I can show Ri Hwa Ja's character. She wanted to be good. She wanted to redeem herself. And none of you felt bad when Ryu Si Oh killed her?

Oh and making Ryu Si Oh suicide? Even I felt like that ending was bad. He must have been brought under law to pay for ge what he did.

P s: Wheewww!!! Bring it on delulus

Title Dr. Romantic Season 3 Spoiler
So this is an observation. Remember in season 1 Kim Sabu's past was shown explaining how he changed from Bu Young Ju to Kim Sabu and about the girl Jang Hyun Joo. It was shown that Jang Hyun Joo's death affected him a lot and she even gave him a mixtape.
And now in S3 ep 4 ending, Jang Dong Hwa is seen listening to a casette. At one point we can see that its written 'Hyun Joo's Compilation' in the casette cover. I guess he is Jang Hyun Joo's brother. And maybe that's why he doesn't respond much to everyone's question on his background.
He says he is not interested in working in ER, he doesn't want to work in Doldam Hospital but when people ask then why did he choose here, he doesn't reply. Maybe he wants to meet Kim Sabu whom his sister respected a lot. Just an observation.

This series is good. It goes through the lives of the song family members. Even though I liked the family, sugarcoating parents' unhealthy obsession over their adult children 's lives as parental love is something I can never ever digest. Throughout the series this fact bothered me, especially the mothers being unnecessarily annoying. I really hoped they would not glorify parental obsession, which over a limit can turn the relationship into a toxic one. But looking over that it is a good one. I would give it 9/10
