Did you watch the extended version of tamra? The 21 eps?
Then you might know if it is better? Or worth it to try?!

THIS post is awesome. Thank you. I might even try^^
Though I think using Coffe Prince as referring to kdrama tropes is confusing. I didn't know that Coffee Prince used a cliche, so I thought is was fresh and different....until I found out. Still stuff like Hong Gil Dong (I love Robin Hood) made me watch korean dramas. You made definetly wise choices!

Thank you for excepting my friend request. I instantly became interested when I saw your pic. Toma is like my first asien crush ever and Im Ju Hwan is just purely awesome - I am watching Tamra right now. When I saw him in What's Up I went nuts. ^^ You are rather into Japanese stuff right?

I know what you mean. No one else I am close with does watch dramas. Though I did (after a looong while) met a few people. But they don't do it like me to this extent. So most of the time I am at dramabeans, reading comments and laughing at them like crazy.

I guess you're one of the lucky ones, to be able to combine work and watching kdramas...all the fusion sageuks you named xD I considered watching, and even did watch. One of my first dramas was Hong Gil Dong, hence withdrawal syndroms were severe. I often decide to watch on the basis of recommendations that sound considerate and by means of the actors of course. I think I watched nearly every movie Lee Min Ki was in^^
But comedies are the only thing I can get myself to watch until the end. I don't like suffering for too long. Though I like it in movies since they are short. How do you decide? Similar?

Thank you for your awesome reply.
Well frankly speaking I considered to watch them both already a few times. But what makes me stop is the sheer number of episodes. It means TIME is running after all. I once tried a long one. But dropped it in the end. Even if the acting and all was great. What I need is a story that keeps me invested. That is not a given with such a long drama. Even a short one with 20 eps can have problems with that. Anyways thank you for your short description. I might try Jejoongwon after all :)

happy new Year browncoat! considering the fact that your addiction started a year ago I'm amazed by your list. Why do you like Queen Seon Duk? And could you tell me your opinion on Jejoonwon?!

Wow, Park Si Yeon's role in this sounds so similar to her role in innocent man. She's with one guy and marries…
true she's still young, there will be something to look forward to. Sometimes we get some really great gems. AND there are still korean movies...there is hope. Let's marvel at her while she's still so pretty. ^^

xD you are really funny
I remember reading an article where she mentioned that it was really refreshing for her to finally act out a different character than the usual ones. I guess she is tired playing the same old character as well as we are watching it. But as we should all know, sometimes actors are stuck playing always the same characters...actually that's what makes them famous when they are awesome at it.

I'm watching the Director's Cut right now, and it's hilarious, even though I cringe whenever they try to speak…
Doesn't that drag the story too much out? maybe the shorter version is better (wondering which one I should watch...)

watch coffee house, there she plays a totally different character...spoiler alert! she will end up with the guy, just like a romantic comedy should be
