Moku

I give you five stars on your analysis of PenJun's character in this drama. It made sense why she and her mother were that way. Thank you for your comment.

you are welcome!

totally agree with you on your insight about XT. I was trying to justify his actions of espionage coz, he suffered in labor camp. And how can he be helpful and a protector for PJ if he is deemed traitor to his country.

OK, after ep 33. got me scratching my head - why is PJ leaving CX again because she remembered how her mother died in the fire when Xueting already told her that? Also on the pier when she was about to leave for Macau that no matter what the past was, she will never leave him and face the future with him. Is she this fickle or dumb story line?

Right, Namgung might not like Sua, He's just going to kiss her to test the 'waters' as perhaps thinking that 'hey' might as well give her a kiss because she's nice to me. Is he that kind a guy? Who would not want a girl who is so thoughtful and kind ? We willl see in the next episode.

agree it's a messy story, can't wait to see who will Namgung and Mido choose to be with in the end.

In the end, I want Mido to have a happy ending with TaeSeung and Namgung with Park SuA. I want them to be happy and enjoy life with whoever they end up with.

Mido's character has been written so poorly imo. Please, writers you can do better than that. It's just a hogwash of plot twist. Can't believe I'm still hoping that the relationship can be salvaged after ep10. idk.

I noticed that too, good eye!

yes, let's hope that at least one will be happy with who she or he ends up with.

They need to break up next week and then move on - life's too short to waste happiness! Just my ten cents opinion.

you're welcome

• Chen Si (沉思) as Jia He: The calculating president of Jia Group who sees through his new secretary's true intentions and keeps her close.
• Fang Jin (方瑾) as Li Weixi: An elite and highly educated "hunter" who disguises herself as an innocent secretary to infiltrate Jia Group and seek revenge.
Unknown to Weixi, Jia He is incredibly calculating and sees through her innocent disguise from the very beginning. Instead of exposing her, he decides to keep her close. He plays along with her performance, actively indulging her little schemes and even secretly helping cover up her lies.
To complicate matters, Jia He is trapped in an unwanted arranged marriage. He uses Weixi's presence to his advantage, forcing her into a contract relationship where she must pretend to be his girlfriend. As the two circle each other in a continuous emotional tug-of-war, the fake relationship begins to spark real, deep affection.

Just as Weixi is on the cusp of executing her final revenge, external trouble strikes. Jia He's intended marriage partner and a hidden family conspiracy join forces to expose Weixi's true identity and past, causing their fragile trust to completely collapse. Heartbroken and caught in a web of misunderstandings, Li Weixi completely disappears.
Her sudden absence sends Jia He into a downward spiral. Realizing he cannot live without her, he abandons his wealth and powerful family position to embark on a desperate, warm, and sometimes comedic pursuit to win her back in the countryside. Ultimately, the dark secrets of the past are brought to light at a hospital sickbed, allowing old grudges to fade away as the two find mutual forgiveness and true redemption.

I love watching Later, I Laughed as much as I like 'Smile Code' Teresa Li as Xiu Ya was excellent role for her. She nailed it.

This drama is showing a lot of mistakes in Namgung and Mido's relationship. Clearly, they are not sharing the HONEST feelings when it comes to commitments and the promise to be true to oneself. If only they can express their true feelings of LOVE to each other, spend more time and hash it out on what they truly want in their relationship. Both of them are at a point of breaking each other's hearts. I feel sad for them. Getting drunk and cheating will really lose your sensibilities. Good story writing in my opinion. I give 8/10 at this point.
