anyway why the rating is drop .. few days ago i saw 8+++?
dont worry. i know it will rise, once it goes off air and legit viewers come in to watch rather than bags of trash coming in and downvoting this due to petty issues
At ep 28 today, i finally GET the intention behind this drama.
i love that the makers keep realistically, reiterating the point about HD being an incurable rare disease, with a dark future. However, it is heartwarming to see this drama still give hope to real life sufferers. Although not necessarily as rampant as cancer, i think this disease is just as insidious and tragic. I have read "The emperor of all maladies" in my university as a recommended read for my Geography of health paper and can tell y'all that Cancer research initially was in the same boat as HD today, as portrayed in the drama. Underfunded and basically considered a hopeless, futile effort (futile for us lazy dumbasses and the researchers who would rather achieve prestige and awards. Not for intelligent minds willing to give their whole life to search for a cure or atleast soften its blow). But public mobilization through ads, radio shows, movies (we know movies romanticise cancer but it keeps public interest in cancer alive and in turn, helps researchers get their funds), celebs advocating for it etc for over the last 100 years has brought Cancer research to the forefront today.
I hope HD and many other unfair genetic diseases like this gets treated one day.
i just finished ep 27 and about to watch ep 28 but i really need to get something off my chest. i would have felt bad for DYC but the woe-me victim mentality in him is insane. he literally cut corners, let his personal desire affect a project and was expecting to be praised for it????? he is not a teenager who is hurt by the environment in his home. this is a grown ass man. yikes
