I like xianxia drama, but I don't like how 40 episodes are just nonsense and dragging. This drama is good, but…
Some ppl were saying the episodes were too fast paced. So I think it's a matter of perspective. For some it's fast, others find it draggy. Although I must say, there seems to be no filler scenes.
Guys!! Tell me which was your favorite moment from the dream arc?!
I thoroughly enjoyed the dream arc. The Gods vs Demons war, Bamboo forest scenes and the end of Ming ye and Sang Jiu were my favorite moments. I was crying buckets
Ming Ye and Sang Jiu's end absolutely destroyed me wtf. I was bawling like a bitch. A minute of silence for the fallen noble God. He has entered my Hall of fame of deeply memorable characters. And you are telling me it's gonna get tragic after the dream arc? Mannn I'm not gonna survive
No many pp enjoy it as well....AOL is my 1st C drama and my fav till now (perhaps not anymore after TTEOTM finish)…
Runyu was definitely my favourite character in AOL and introduced me to Luo Yunxi. When I heard him and Bai Lu (I liked her although I had never watched her in any drama before) were in an upcoming drama, Love is sweet, I was intrigued coz these were two actors I loved. Thoroughly enjoyed their chemistry in LIS.
And now, THIS drama of theirs. I must have done something good in a past life to witness two awesome dramas with my favourite CP.
Not many pp paying attentions to the depth of MY stories, He as the last God left has been guiding Mohe river…
Honestly, this dream arc is really interesting to watch. And I empathize with both Ming Ye and Sang Jiu at the same time. They are victims of their era's tragedy. And I have a huge respect for God Ming Ye. Dude is the only God left, trying to do everything right but wellll.... 😔
Seems like I'm the only one who is loving the dream arc as well lol. This is the second xianxia drama I'm watching. The first one was Ashes of love, but I stopped watching it after a few episodes. This drama tho. I'm hooked. I think me not being used to xianxia tropes that everyone is talking about makes this feel new and interesting haha.
Anyway, love the acting, no cringe moments, love the storyline.
As for the recent episodes, the Gods vs Demons war while the opening theme plays.......chef's kiss. And the scenes where Sang Jiu is taking care of a blind Ming ye is so bittersweet, knowing their tragic end.
The way I got so emotional during Ren's flashback and when Thyme got attacked, the horror on everyone's face. Mannn I was losing some interest (as I always do in the middle episodes) but this semi-finale jolted me back. I hope we have a grand final episode.
Okay, first of all, thoroughly enjoy that especially after finding the last 3 eps quite boring.I saw comment about…
About the Ren thing, I'm gonna take a guess here. I think that Ren somehow feels he owes Gorya (not in a negative way) his help if it is within his capacity because she was there when he was going through the Mira heartbreak era. Add to that some initial romantic feelings that never really reached the Love stage but instead became a good friendship kinda thing. And Thyme is his bestie so that doubles his motivation to make ThymeXGorya possible. Or he is just helping them Lol
Well... the manga was created back in 1992 and the author actually intended to make Tsukushi/Gorya ends up with…
I have never read the manga but strangely, the way you just described Manga Thyme is what I feel about Live action Ren (minus the dangerous part). Ren seems nice on the outside but I see a certain undercurrent within him Lol
I'm not liking the way they made Ren -- he does love her more in this drama (so in some ways it's good) -- but…
I think Ren getting hit was "realistic" lol. He was up alone against a long brewing pre-meditated attack plan against F4 directly. But I agree, he should've just driven off
Where the fanfic writers at? I need an alternate ending for Ming Ye ❤️ Sang Jiu for my sanity
YXW's betrayal gonna hurt extra bad now coz this time, there would be feelings involved.
A minute of silence for the fallen noble God. He has entered my Hall of fame of deeply memorable characters.

Also, will try to rewatch AOL

The Korean version showed Jihoo's heart break 😭 I'm glad Thai version won't go that route coz I will just be crying the whole time then
