i agree with you mostly except the linear narrative part. i just thought about it and realised that this is actually a better narration especially for a CCTV show. i know ppl love a lil bit of suspense and tension from the beginning but idk man............... this actually opened really well. I personally think this is one of those dramas where the initial episodes' importance will only be realized in hindsight. Viewers saw their love blossoming in real time. we were right there with them. its holds more significance than flashbacks. (idk how to explain this. as i said, am a woman of few words hihi)
the screenplay is definitely not up to the mark.like there are moments where i feel a scene ended abruptly. dubbing is ughhhhhhhh.
BUT BUT BUT the chemistry, the actual plot, the characters, the OSTs (mamma mia!) are so lovely that i'm hooked. Xixi and Nannan are doing a great job in keeping me hooked. i actually want to know how the story will progress now for realz
