Xixi in a thriller genre with a director from HK will be gold.

Yeah check it out. It starts out pretty standard but as i just watched ep 6 that released yesterday (i think?), it has gotten more intense.

Idk i just havent seen any cdrama in this genre thats why.

Also, this genre needs good direction coz if the execution is poor, no amount of great script is gonna save it. Idk if Cdrama directors are at the level kdrama directors are at, atleast for this genre.

i dont want Xixi to be a part of a project like this unless the director is skilled. Otherwise my man will be acting his ass off while the plot is going nowhere.

i'm actually hooked to the plot. Its a very common type of trope in that genre but so far, the drama is very engaging with almost no plotholes, is tense and quite realistic.
