My final thoughts on Arsenal Military Academy: (posting this here for those in this group who has watched it)
I enjoyed it. I feel like this drama is character-driven rather than plot-driven. I say this only because i didnt care about the political side of things that was going on i.e. the Sino-Japanese tensions. I liked the routine of the academy and the various students, teachers, their shenanigans, aspirations, relationships with the non-academy characters, relative to the era they were living in.
I have heard a LOT about KaiLu before and i agree they have great chemistry.
I loved the Shen brothers (both of them so charismatic and do questionable things in love lol), Ji Jin (he was basically me the entire time) and that bully coz he was hilarious. Did not see his love story coming lol
Bai Lu killed it with this character. She looked so cute as a boy/man. Xu Kai was so cute too.
Can i keep Shen Jun Shan for myself? The way he thought he was bi/gay aww he was giving Nakatsu from Hanakimi in terms of kinda accepting his gay feelings lol. Love him so much. I said before that i love Ming Ye/Chu Wanning type of men. SJS has joined the club. And his nose omg i kept staring at it especially from the side profile. Its shaped so attractively on his face. Toby lee joined hands with LYX on my list of men whose nose i find attractive.
