In the hands of a lesser experienced actor, the initial episodes' TTJ would def be a stone-faced male lead, which in itself is not bad and we wouldn't have complained even. But LYX's rendition was vulnerable, creepy, a bit unhinged, clinical with a huge dose of beauty and elegance. It elevated TTJ's character from good to iconic

I think if he didn't know it beforehand, i.e. when ADG starts talking, he probably wouldn't have that much strength to withstand ADG's power. LSS' lineage seemed like the final puzzle piece for TTJ.
