To my knowledge, she has been in debt since her DUI. And the pressure of having to pay the money back and the scare of the legal notice could be what drove her over the edge in her final moments. But I am also talking about the other attempts of trying to unalive herself.

But didn't KSH at his press conference play a audio file between GM and KSR people which explained that the notice was only a formality and they didn't request the money immediatly. Which is why I think it's so werid KSR thought so otherwise. And yes it could be so simple cleared if someone from GM or KSH himself had reached out to her with those answers. Even though KSH and KSR weren't in contact with each other anymore he could have answered her message. I keep thinking it's because ghosting is the easiest move or because he weren't involved in the finatics of the recovering of the money from KSR. But it could also be other reasons.

LJH just seems to be a souless person to me. I think his a women hater and would attack anyone defending women because he in some kind of way feels inferior to them. I don't think he gives a flying fuck about anybody but himself. I'm even speculating that he doesn't give a damm about KSH. He just wanted an excuse to bully KSR some more and saw himself as a warrior defending an "innocent" man that this horrible woman is trying to take down with her. You question that if GM/KSH had never sent the legal notice would KSR still be alive. I tried to look online for information about the legal notice. i didn't understand why they had to send it...but from what I found it can be something they have to do because of their investors and partners. (But tbh I had a hard time wrapping my head around it). But if that is true do you think GM/KSH is legit when they never meant for the return of the money? If the evidence is true it seems that KSR thought they claimed to wanting the money back by her message to KSH. What was really said to her is what I question myself.

What I mean by this is that the problem is so much bigger than just KSH. This situation highlights serious social issues beyond just one person. Cancel culture and trial by social media have made it impossible for celebrities to defend themselves before losing everything. Like the case with Lee Soo Kyun.

I unfortunately think that if KSR had been alive today and this scandal had come out, her situation wouldn't have been much better. The internet mobs would turn it around in some kind of way that would have been harmful to KSR as well. She was under intense scrutiny for years after her DUI and public shaming. How she held on for so long just shows how strong she was. It's like with her death, people suddenly realized they had gone too far. But had she been alive, no matter how sick she got because of the bullying and the financial pressure she was in or how much she tried to right her wrong, people wouldn't care because I genuinely think they believe she deserved it all. But only with her death is she forgiven.

A lot of people are out here now fighting for justice for KSR, but one sad fact is that nobody will really know what kind of justice KSR wanted for herself. Not the people on social media, none of her close friends, and not even her family can be sure if this outcome is what KSR wanted. Would she be happy to know that her private life has been revealed like that? A lot of her private information that has come out was not for us to know.

To my understanding the reason KSR family is talking about KSH and KSR relationship and only focusing on him is because of some horrible youtuber who, every time he had the chance talked shit about KSR. He bullied her for her DUI said she had an abortion (which i think is not legal or possible in SK, not sure), etc. etc. When KSR posted a pic of her and KSH out of the blue one day and people for the first time (to my knowledge) speculated if they had been in a relationship. KSH denied those rumors. (Which we today know was a lie). The YouTuber then used that information to attack KSR further, saying she was trying to gain attention. I think he posted about her using KSH to better her reputation. To make this short the YouTuber was a horrible bully and his focus was on KSR and unfortunately, a lot of people agreed with his point of view and bullied her too.

KSR family has now sued this YouTuber, but to win the lawsuit, they have to prove that he posted lies about KSR, which in the end could be the reason why KSR choose to unalive herself. That is (for my understanding) the reason they have come forward with the evidence that KSR and KSH once were in a relationship.

Well said! The picture is so much bigger than KSH. He will pay for his part, but putting the blame solely on him is illogical. I think people in the end are fighting a battle where they will succed in destroying everything related to KSH. But when thats done. What happens next? Will cases like these never happen again? I do not think anything will change. What about all that online bullying KSR went through? KSR and KSh are both products of a society where the focus on women's rights, sexual education, and mental health is super low. One of my Korean classmates from my time studying in SK described it as Hunger Games where only the strongest survive. And the way of surviving doesn't have to be ethical.

I agree with a lot of what you said. But I do think both sides are presenting double standards tbh. When I scroll down this page I only see hateful comments and that is from both sides. In the end, people have different opinions and morality and should be able to express them without being slaughtered. It's like a double-edged sword. We have to be mindful on how we interact with each other because, in the end, we might have to deal with consequences that could hurt ourselves or people around us that we care about.

Your example with her posting that picture, which was the first time we questioned their relationship. Had he then come clean with what he has come clean with today. That they dated in 2019-2020 or something.... Unfortunately I do not see how that would have helped her. I think people would have taking that information and run with it differently. Maybe claiming she seduced him from for her own benefits or she used their relationship to gain attention or some other horrible shit. People were just deadset on hating her then. I don't think she could have done anything right.

I have not watched it. But I will look it up...But to try and answer your question now by what you have described, I do not think I will consider that grooming, since they first started dating when she was a grown up.

On this point, I do not agree with you. Had he denied it or not I think the backlash would have been the same. In my understanding of Korean culture it is looked down upon by the netzisen if their idol or in this case hallyu star is dating or linked to anything negative. Yeah the hardcore fans will overlook anything but everyone else can easily be persuaded. And at that time KSR was looked down upon and treated horribly by the netzisen. Korea has a long history of cases where people gets falsely accused, later proved innocent but they never really get a proper comeback after their scandal. Especially women have a harder time gaining their innocence and reputation. It's like they are still guilty even though they have been proven innocent.

So when the picture of KSR and KSH was uploaded on her social media and their relationship was in question for the first time, I was not surprised that he and his company denied it. I think that 95% of the population would have done the same. I believe it would have been a scandal no matter what.

But it does make me wonder that if he had told the public, what he is standing by today, that they were in a relationship when she was 19 to 20 years old when the first picture was posted, would she have been treated differently? For some reason, I think she would still have been bullied and treated horribly. I think in many people's eyes, she couldn't do anything right.

When it comes to this case between KSR and KSH I guess it's each individual's opinion if he groomed her or not. And we will never know which opinion is right since KSR isn't here to voice her truth. I hope she's in peace now.

I think some of your points make sense. Especially what you wrote about the teen and the father. I hope you don't mind me asking, but would you have looked at the situation differently if they had stayed in a relationship? I'm getting a bit confused about what you mean when you are referencing the other couples who had a long-lasting relationship and proved everyone else wrong.

Right now, I'm looking into the law and information about grooming in my country. I must admit the lines can be blurred when trying to understand what is considered grooming in specific cases. Too many well-educated people have different opinions on it, so what is right?

Maybe some choose to stay neutral because, in the end, you can never really know what true justice for KSR is. I keep asking myself whether this was the outcome she truly wanted. Is attacking people, no matter their beliefs, really the right way?

People are attacking KSR’s family, saying they allowed grooming, that they weren’t there for her during her depression, or that they didn’t help her in her financial crisis and were too dependent on her when she was just a child. KSH is being blamed for grooming, ghosting, and so on. But in the end, we can never be sure how KSR felt about all of this, no matter how much we try to analyze and look at "the proof" from all parties. KSR took the truth about how she really felt and what happened with her, and I hope she has peace now.

Vincenzo cassano, how is the way you're commenting on people's post any better than what you are accusing people of? You call out these degrading stuff but are being just as degrading yourself. I still haven't seen the last two episodes yet which has aired. So I had no idea about the kidnapping (0-0). I agree with what you wrote about the kidnapping. I myself can't see why Type would think of kidnapping someone, having been a victim himself.
I have to see the episodes. I really liked the series so far, so let's see what I will get out of it now. I will have your thoughts on the plot, screenplay, directing, etc., regarding these episodes in the back of my mind when I watch them.

But that is kind of my point. You are maybe the type who thinks like my mom. Where others may think he was just trying to be nice to my mom. It was a small act of kindness that he didn't put most thought into. no reason for her to act like that.

I really like the way we all have different reactions to the scenes and, different thoughts of how a relationship should be after 7 years.

That scene where Type ironed Tharns clothes where complete relatable to me, I saw my parents in them. Even after 25 years of marriage, my mom still gives my father the death stare if he brings home a different kind of soda than her favorite brand. :D hehe
My father gets annoyed because he was just trying to be nice, but my mother gets mad because she thinks he should know what her favorite brand is (basically she means he should know her better)

In my eyes Tharn and Type are to complete different people who fell head over heels for each other. They each have their own ways of showing love even though it at times gets misunderstood as something different on the receiving end....

But I think it is a great discussion to have because, it can make us all realize how different relationships can be, and give us all a broader view.
