I am so glad that in EP 13, we have the villain strategy meeting too, to be honest, they've been attacked one…
Yura even finances their desires...she's ruining them and also ruining her self in the process and I can't wait for how it ends for all of them but yes her character has a place in the plot now
Okay the acting in today's episode..special shout outs for Park Minyoung , Song ha yoon and Na in woo.
During the confrontation....I could literally feel every bit of emotions Ji won wanted to portray...her anger and sadness and rage....from her voice tone to her facial expressions to her intense eye acting to that scream she let out......👏
Su min....she's with no doubt my most hated villain but I like how she is written with so many layers...her character has an Interesting way of throwing around her rage and also tantrums....she really got me scoffing during the confrontation when she was trying all her ways to gaslight....Ji won even of it took her faking tears....👏😑
Ji hyuk.....he just has this quiet yet intriguing and compelling way to draw in viewers and let his emotions be known to them..when he was crying in the car and the way his voice was shaky while recording that voice note......his facial expressions.
Today's episodes biggest strength was the ACTING!!!!!!
Just thought I should say this...it's been on my mind for a while....
This drama has a plot I have seen before....but what makes it unique from those that I have seen before is it's feel....the story telling just has this emotional factor about it that warms my heart and breaks it at the same time....the other part is how it tried to stay real not just in characterisation where these characters are flawed and relatable but even in the female leads process of revenge....instead of throwing at us a transformation where she becomes baddas they let us experience her transformation and journey to self discovery..she was wounded and they let us see her wounds and how those wounds slowly healed we saw how she discovered her self and how she became stronger...they didn't hide her weaknesses or traumas or hesitation or insecurities under the guise of she's now a strong woman no they let her take her time....which I find emotionally connecting and satisfying and absolutely lacking in many revenge dramas I think many revenge dramas focus so much of feeding thrill and excitement and never really show the vulnerability of the person revenging....that's a factor that wasn't left out in this and I love that....she's clearly still growing as a character but I love what they have done with her so far.
Episode twelve seemed to be an episode setting things up for what's going to happen to both the good guys and the bad guys in the drama.
From the stills released by TVN you can tell episode thirteen is going to focus on telling us the backstory of Su min and Ji won which is the fact that Ji wons mom good married to Su mins dad.
Then the part where Yura pays Minhwan to get rid of Jiwon but I stead Su min takes that money to her parents which will explain why the truck driver who hit Ji Hyuk is Su mins dad ( Also in the stills...I've seen those on twitter)
From that alone I can already sense demise for the three because then in the preview we see a confrontation of Ji won and Su min maybe because she recognises the truck driver as Su mins dad and immediately connects the dots...this is the time for Ji won to finally stand up for Ji Hyuk and fight for him to get his justice.
In addition will be grand pa finding our about Yura's plan to kill Ji won that has now hurt his grandson and will now chase that lil b**tch away....* Claps *
Minhwan is silly so we don't have to worry about how he meets his demise but Iam sure they all get to pay for attempting to kill some one.
The accident that Ji Hyuk got in must have been the long awaited inevitably considering that the truck that hits him is the same truck that hits him in the present time line the only variable this time is that it doesn't kill him but sends him to coma instead...so because of this the danger that he has been beating himself around on will come to an end hopefully and he can stop worrying about dying in the future.
We then left with hee yeons and Eun hos love line which I would like them to develop realistically....and not rush.
Then Mr Lee telling Mrs Jang about her cheated husband and finding a way to free her.
That's pretty much it and yes like everyone I was worried but I think they can do it all in four episodes....fingers crossed!!!!
So to me Yura's coming wasn't in vein if you look at it this way there is no way Minhwan and Su min would have gotten money to try and kill Ji won which is going to be the source of their demise........and also the accident that happens to Ji Hyuk being moved forward to happening now solves another problem...Yura messing up with grandpa by hurting his son takes away the only benefit of doubt the grandpa has for her which also creates her demise so Yura is a plot device to moving the plot forward whether we like her or not.....
So the drama is not going the way we want too but it's definitely leading to some thing we want.

Imagine this getting over at episode 11 without the last ex fiancee scene and episode 12 showing them just dating…
Not for me...... became many side plots would be left unresolved like Jang's cancer her cheated husband.... getting to have a glimpse of male leads story which has been fleshed out a bit in today's episode....Eun ho and hee yeons love line.....finding out how Ji Hyuk changes his fate trust me alot would be left out by then 🤣
Wait guys does that last part of episode 12 indicate that Ji hyuk's fats of having a car accident had transferred to Ji won....just like in the beginning of the series when Ji wons wound on the arm was transferred to Ji Hyuk......and since he intercepted or then maybe he doesn't get really hurt and in turn manages to change his fate....
I think the problem isn't about Ji won reacting the way she did...the actual part that's annoying most people is the fact that Ji hyuk has been devoed to her and has stood by her side and understood her and even protected her so when the time came that Ji won had to do the same according to some people she just backed off and walked away like a coward.....leaving all Ji Hyuk' s efforts in vain.
Do I feel this way too part of me does but part of me is also trying to view things from her pov....and her traumas ain't an excuse to hurt others but her reactions were human....she was so busy thinking about her self and how she doesn't want the past to repeat it's self she couldn't calm down and think things out clearly
MY NEW MOTTO IS ; NORMALISE BLAMING YURA SU MIN AND MINHWAN FOR EVERYTHING THAT GOES WRONG IN THE DRAMA AND IN MY LIFE...( like did I just miss dinner because I was sleeping...it's all their fault.🥲😂
Iam sorry but their is something distracting about Yura's face like is it the make up...I don't know but I just found my self staring at her face more than listening to what as had to say....no offence
Secondly how does Su min keep getting more and more unhinged with her crazy actions.....
I think Iam more disappointed with grandpa than Ji won tbh like dude you were smiling yesterday watching your grandson smile and now suddenly you putting up with Yu Ra's drama...free Ji Hyuk and let him be happy.
Also my boy Ji Hyuk had it rough today......but Iam not blaming Ji won either....I get that she needs to understand him and put in more effort but she has her past traumatic issues to get over first but Iam sure she is going to come around in the next episode.
The drama is reaching its peak and it's getting more intense and complicated which might worry some viewers but Iam going to trust the good writing and pacing we have had for the past eleven episodes to have everything cleverly wrapped up in the end.....Iam I being too trusting toward the writer yes...but she has given me a reason too from what I have seen so far.
Also this was never just a simple romcom.....
