Ok,,i am ready to go on a long debate if anyone criticizes fl character here..you can call me fanatic or whatever...this…
Some people claiming she was dramatic calling out the male lead for having lied to her to get to the testimony..like she literally put two in two together confronted him as she should have , listened to his explanation and then played it cool....by brushing it off and understanding him ..where is the drama in that
I must be the only one not desparate for romance between these two..I mean I want I do they have the tension but at the same time Iam good with how their relationship is flowing....and to be honest just like his feelings and the way he sees her changed after he discovered that she isn't his sister will be the same way her feelings will change for her as well when she realises that he isn't her brother....she will then change the way she views him and that won't necessarily needs lots of episodes to happen....Iam trying to trust the process because the writing is good and I believe it will happen when it has too for now....I do want the romance but Iam not in a hurry π€ the build up of their relationship is their and all that's left for both is to cross the line..that will be crossed when the time comes....
Double standards are the norm in MDL comment sections..I've seen times where the FL was criticized for things a ml would be praised for.....and vice versa...I like to analyse issues with both sides in mind...and that's why I hate taking sides especially when it's dramas to do with relationships and how one is at fault than the other...I personally will wait for a clear explanation from the writer before taking any sides
Can you explain the reason for their breakup ? Spoilers are fine !
It hadn't been elaborated on but if you watch and piece the different flashbacks together then you will know it had something to do with the fact that the male lead was all in and the female lead had a foot in and a foot out because of issues like her parents broken marriage...not because she didn't like him but rather because she was taught how to love and so she didn't know how to give it.....and stay committed to it....
Multiple couples have never really worked out for me in C dramas because it always felt like some were fillers to cover up episodes and some tend to take away the spotlight from the main couple but Suprisingly things are working out for me in this..all the three couples have their own dynamics that are interesting to watch.
This might be a bit controversial but Iam not digging the male lead...in short he doesn't feel like a male lead..his acting is subtle yet good I love how he uses his eyes..but he lacks something is it personality or a specific charm or maybe charisma..either way for now he really isn't doing it for me but I love his chemistry with the female lead.
Other characters are good..FL who has issues but is also bold and endearing and hardworking, her friends one that's sassy and another introverted and then then the other male characters.
This is 24 EPISODES so I expect no drags but then so far it's good.
The variety show setting is good and the little interviews at the end are a good addition.
Hurt people hurt people...Iam sure some of y'all have heard of this saying whether it's direct or indirect intentional or not...hurt people will always hurt people...female leads family did a number on her..one that affected her relationship with the male lead...is it her fault for getting into a relationship knowing damn well that she has issues..NO she must have thought that she won't be like her parents but sadly her parents issues came to haunt her as well.....all the into her relationship..from the flashbacks you can tell she loves the ml otherwise why would she be so broken by their separation...as much as I understand the ML and all the efforts he put into his relationship..I understand the FL and her fears and insecurities that's why communication is crucial in relationships like this because had he known that shes facing such serious issues then he would have toned it down or maybe both would have worked out a way....it takes two to tangle, it takes two to make a relationship work and whether you like it or not it takes two at times for it to break....Iam not taking sides.... atleast not untill we get a clear and more elaborated reason.
You don't need to watch the parent story to watch this..we except for the female leads backstory...and all....and at the same time you really can enjoy this without dragging in the parent story for comparison besides being set in the almost same universe they are completely different....to be honest Iam glad they didn't make it many episodes..two episodes were enough to enjoy this...as it was set to be..the chemistry between the leads is enough to pull you through the story...the drama it's self is chaotic and fun to watch.....overall a short and light and fun watch.
When he took a break from action roles y'all complained and said you wanted him back into those and now that he's giving you back to back action roles you bored and need something else..... seriously π
Where is my episode 13? I really wanted more....that ending felt short yes satisfactory and happy but short like I needed more...anyways no gain no love has officially made it to my top five dramas this year....I loved everything about this drama...the comedy, the romance , the characters, the chemistry between the couples...its on rare occasions that a drama has me excited from start to finish but this did the job....my Mondays and Tuesdays aren't going to be the same anymore...π₯Ίπ
This might as well be one of my most favourite dramas with the friends to lovers troupe....it's being done in a way that realistic enough for people in the same situation to relate to the characters.....the conflicts the restraining... everything is painfully beautiful and real.....Iam loving this....and I can't wait for when they both pull those walls down and cross over to being lovers...but so far Iam glad they are taking their time....and showing us how complicated it can be...... through their actions and even more.
Why don't they confess? Why don't they get together....? I thought this series did a good job showing us what their bond and relationship before they turn into lovers is..it's Soo special and delicate I can actually see why both are scared to risk it all..they both like eachother but crossing over isn't easy..speaking from experience you don't just turn from friends to lovers so easily unless your friendship wasn't strong enough for you to feel scared of losing it....they will finally cross the line but I love how they are taking their time to feel conflicted to sort out their feelings and more..I'd rather have them get together later on after resolving their feelings and learning that they can co exist as both friends and lovers....than them getting into it quickly only to feel like maybe they took it a little too fast later.....Iam loving the pace...but I can see why some of us think it's slow and are getting a little too impatient.
The slow burn is slow burning so hard with these two but Iam seated
Iam nine episodes in and Iam actually loving this show...there is just something refreshing about it...despite the whole friends to lovers not really being a new troupe..I love how they executed it in this one...the way they dive into their friendship they show us their connection how they interact and then also show us both of their povs and their different perspectives...and conflicts of changing from being friends to lovers.....the interactions between the leads seem natural..I love how their conversations display their familiarity...as friends and also love how they have this tension going on between them making me anticipate them becoming a couple... overall so far Iam impressed with the flow of the story, the characters, the acting and chemistry....hoping for more.
