Title Hold a Court Now Spoiler
They ended up together in the end. It was a happy ending.
Shen stayed at the Family Court for some reasons and loved his job there.
Qin still worked at Ronghe and chose work that didn‘t conflict with his.
They tried to be together and left room for each other to grow in the future.

I’m watching it for the second time, and this time I’m focusing only on the cases and skipping the daily-life parts—it feels so much better. The first time around, I kept worrying about the male lead’s love life, and some of the everyday scenes were distracting.

Focusing just on the cases, I think Ye Qian has great insight into human nature, as well as sharp attention to detail. His pursuit, arrest, and combat skills are also really impressive. As a police officer, the charm and strength Gong Jun brings to the role are exactly what I love.

I also read the original novel. The author didn’t write about the anti-drug or undercover missions at all; it only focuses on describing the cases.

Title The Truth Spoiler
It’s confusing they never showed how the fl died or who killed her
In the final episode, an amusement park ticket—something only the female lead would have—appears in front of her grave.

My understanding is that she isn’t actually dead. She just went on another undercover mission under a new identity. She left the ticket in front of the grave to let the male lead know she’s alive, so he wouldn’t be too heartbroken.

This video is a pure case edit of a murder from the show, without any police daily life scenes. I think it’s complete and really well-made. It has already gained over 5.87 million views on Chinese social media. If you’re interested in the case, you can check it out.

The title of this video is:
The latest crime drama! The most twisted love and the most vicious hatred all unfold in this neighborhood.

Hahaha, there’s a kiss scene between the male and female leads today. I’ve watched it over and over again and just can’t get enough! I don’t think the supporting characters’ romantic storylines are necessary at all.

I guessed the wrong culprit in the bride case of the third episode, but the investigation process was absolutely fantastic, and Gong Jun delivered an amazing performance. Did anyone get the culprit right? I’ll keep watching and hope there are more such twisted cases ahead.

Im a fan of GJ, not for fangirl reasons but man, I'm starting to think he will NEVER get the right role because…
I’m a fan of Gong Jun, so I will bless and encourage him. I really love the side of a criminal policeman he shows in this drama, especially in the third case—the bride's murder case. I think the process where Gong Jun reconstructs the crime is fantastic, and many people have edited separate clips of the case, which are extremely popular online.

I’ve really enjoyed it so far, but unlike what I’d imagined, the show doesn’t linger on the details of the forensic investigation work; it only clearly lays out the investigation methods and results. Most of the time, it’s focused on moving the plot forward. I’m curious about the suspense of each case, so I make some guesses first and then check if I’m right, which is why I’m really looking forward to the upcoming episodes. I think the pacing is just right. I like Ye Qian, but I don’t like his roommate—he has no sense of boundaries, in my opinion. The romantic relationship between the male and female leads makes me both eager and nervous.

I binged four episodes in one go and absolutely loved the show! The plot was so gripping that I couldn’t stop wondering what would happen next. Ye Qian’s personality is vastly different from Gong Jun’s, and Gong Jun delivered an amazing performance. I especially love his original voice—his lines are forceful and resounding during interrogations, and gentle yet restrained when empathizing with the victims. There are quite a few scenes of Gong Jun riding a motorcycle; I heard he got a motorcycle license specially for this drama and practiced for a long time, and it’s clear all that hard work was well worth it.
