For people that are hesitant to start watching this show, I would start picking it up. I think people are being over dramatic about Goo Hye Sun's acting. I found her acting on point in the earlier episodes on being snooty and prideful and in the current episodes I actually enjoy her character (I don't understand the complaint with her voice). Blood starts extremely awkward, most likely due to the forced setting and over dramatic action scenes in the first episode, but takes a turn for the better by episode 3. Blood gets manageable at episode 3 and then just starts picking up tempo from there. Also for the purpose of the plot, the virus aspect is very thought out and currently doesn't have clear loopholes.
P.S.: Although viki prevents further episodes from being viewed, you can watch them on other sites if anyone was wondering.
I am so glad I picked up this drama, the story is so well written and acting is so moving that you completely forget this is a drama. As a guy, I don't cry often but after episode 13 and 14 (especially the scene with Cheif Oh Sang talking to Head Sun in 14) I was crying. I now have two people on my man crush list: Song Joong Ki and now Im Shi Wan.
Can someone explain why Park Hoon's father came to visit him even though he knew of the consequences of visiting…
That is exactly what I was thinking, but I still feet he could of done this in a more appropriate manner. Although the first episode did not competely show how much Park Hoon's mind set has changed since entering the research facility, It infered it, because his attitude towards patients changed dramatically and when he expressed his conflicting ideals of what a doctor should do (that scene was really powerful) you could tell how much he went through and how much he has changed. I feel that his father's death will just further worsen this condition he is currently in, but I guess that is what a drama is, they need to show his personality change for the good.
Sorry for the wall of text, it's just really fun analyzing dramas (however I might just be a weirdo in this aspect haha), but I extremely excited for tomorrows episode :D.
Can someone explain why Park Hoon's father came to visit him even though he knew of the consequences of visiting without permission? It feels as if though they just made him come just so they could kill him off, in order to give Park Hoon an actually reason to leave North Korea, however, it does not feel like a solid reason, it just feels like the writer just randomly threw that in :(.
