Am I the only one that honestly preferred the V/Third ship over V/San? Throughout the series Third treated San way better than V ever did. Like I can see why San fell for V by the end but honestly San wasn’t often that likeable to have V fall for him so hard. I feel like even V/Juu I would’ve been more fun. Don’t get me wrong, I wanted to ship V/San but honestly it was kinda hard too.
The show itself was fun and kinda trashy. The supporting cast were written pretty well and we’re on par with the main couple which can be hard for a drama to achieve so I commend this show for that. I also really enjoy the fact that they made V and San both explicitly bisexual as we know no erasure is heavy in the bl scene. It wasn’t my favourite show of all time but I’d like to see this cast together again. I feel like the actors who played Third and Ton could be a good potential side ship to the Daou/Offroad’s next series.
Personally I’ve been loving the scenes where we get straight romance between the ships. Like ep 6&7 forehead touch scenes between Jack&Joker. And ngl I’ve even been enjoying the Tattoo/Aran & Hope/Save romance scenes too. I honestly which the series just decided to focused on that as the mode of storytelling and just dump some of these totally filler fluff plot bunnies. A good chunk of the plotlines are so frustrating. Like are you really telling me that in the year of Our Lord 2024, we’re still having characters fall for such ridiculous, contrived, and cheesy plot lines like gay man in an arranged straight marriage, can’t figure out that the bad guy obvi poisoned the meds, and bimbo airhaid girl has nothing more to her character than being a 2D wedge bw the main pairing?
1h 14 min episode, all from this director is always draggy af, i just watched a kdrama episode that was 1h10 min,…
Yes! Please I wanted to just skip forward past that scene because the whole thing was so unimportant and boring tbh but I couldn’t because of the platform I was viewing on. One of my main criticisms of this series is the really bad editing which seems to consistently include not knowing where to cut scenes.
