I was thinking that maybe Jimong helped Soo travel to past because he wanted Wang Mu to live longer by changing Wang So and thus history. But he saw that it was all in vain and he would still die young. That could be why he said to So "Don't try to reach for someone who can't be reached. Or you'll end up like me". Just a theory.

So the purpose of sending Hae Soo to the past was to change Wang So. So that he wouldn't be remembered as…
Maybe Ji Mong sent her there? Too bad that we won't know. Ji Mong's character and motives needed to be explained much more.

can someone pls tell me whose child bok soon is? is there a story behind it or is it just pure coincidence?
I think she's Woo Hee's reicarnation too. Born to Wook who probably remarried after Soo died in an attempt to forget her. (Or he adopted her, it wasn't explained.) She desperately wanted to be born differently after all. About talisman I don't know. She said it was always there. I can see Baek Ah marrying her when she becomes an adult.
Some things were not explained well enough and rushed through, I agree.

Did Baek Ah not know that Woo-hee was a princess? Also, I thought the three kingdoms were already unified by King…
@ohhe-buk: It seriously sucks that there are different versions of each episode. It leads to confusion and I don't have the time to watch both. I try to follow the differences by reading Neyjour's posts but it's hard to catch every little sub difference naturally.
Raincat said she's still a court lady. I didn't know that and that changes everything. As a court lady there is no other way for her to leave the palace other than marriage. Now it makes sense. Thanks to the both of you. All that confusion happened because of different versions and some things that the drama didn't make that clear. Let's see what will happen in the last episode. I'm still hoping for a good ending.

@RainCat: Oh, I didn't know she was still a court lady. That changes everything. Jung spoke as if she wasn't. Hence the misunderstanding.

Me and ohhe-buk already clarified what was the problem. If the subs were more clear in the version I watched, I naturally wouldn't have asked.

@ohhe-buk: I watched the re-edited SBS version on kissasian and there he only said "Why didn't she tell me?". Nothing more. Maybe it was subbed differently and more accurate in the international version, I don't know.
Ok, I was just wondering if there was some deeper meaning behind the large poster. If I have perhaps missed something. A historical fact or something.
I was talking about -after- he learnt about the Wook & Soo past. The marriage scenario still appears forced and unnecessary to me, sorry. I have put plenty of thought into it but still nada. But then again that's just me. Just because it doesn't make sense to me, doesn't mean that it has to be like that to others as well. I get Soo though. Jung treats her well and she wants to spend the rest of her days enjoying nature far away from the suffocating and painful palace life.

Of course I watched the episode. What kind of question is that? There could be things that viewers have trouble understanding. Or want to have a deeper meaning. It's subbed after all and a sageuk on top of that. I cannot understand Korean. It's not a crime to ask!
Nope, he only said "Why didn't she tell me?" But that could've referred to something else you know. Like eg "why didn't she tell me she was unhappy/how she really felt?". It's not my fault if the dialogues are sometimes vague/subs too short etc.
That still doesn't answer my question of the term "re"-unification.
I know. But that was before he heard the history of Wook & Soo. Can't she just leave the palace without getting married to anyone now? It's not like she's a court maid anymore who's tied to palace laws. Neither WS's official wife. They could tell the ministers that she disappeared/run away on her own/whatever. I hope you got me now.

Did Baek Ah not know that Woo-hee was a princess? Also, I thought the three kingdoms were already unified by King Taejo. Then what was that large poster about when Woo-hee was about to jump off? "Re-unification"?
And why does HS have to marry Jung when So told her to leave already? Is there really a need for that? She's about to leave the palace anyway. No one's stopping her.
