so, you're comparing an actor like Keita who's had MANY years of experience in the industry and can maybe use those years of experience to maybe suggest things for the script, to Jae and Ye who are BRAND NEW to the industry and have no say? That doesn't make any sense. Keita's career didn't NEED advancing. He's been working steadily since about 2011 and in 2018 alone he had like 8 projects.

And why are we comparing Japanese dramas to Korean dramas in this regard? Also, why is a kiss an indicator of a drama being good or bad? It had the story, the lighting, good acting, chemistry between the mains-- There was a kiss in this - it wasn't the kiss you wanted so it doesn't count? But that feels like a you problem to me.

and PS: You should really be careful using words like "explotative" and "homophic" when you're referring to someone. They are labels that once gets stuck never goes away. And the fact that you don't know that the actors (especially new actors) have no control in the writing and directing of these dramas, my advice is to not put these labels on people until you can 100% prove that they're correct.

So if you want anything hotter than lingering looks or sometimes a kiss, go watch a thai bl. Korean BLs deal mostly in DEVELOPING love and DEVELOPING romance. And I prefer intimacy over a fake kiss any day. Y'all need to stop.
