I think he is at the point where the guilt is too much. He thinks to make everyone feel better, he needs to give a life for a life. Its not right but i think thats his thinking. I think he also feels as if he sticks around that will give his mother a reason to keep doing the horrible things she's been doing. It's not allegations anymore because they released a statement. I adore LMH and as long as he has been diligent in paying his taxes, this will go away as an oversight. They do that all the time tho. Like I'm watching HOME FOR SUMMER right now and at ep 117 or 128, instead of winding things down so the ending isn't rushed or a mess, they tossed in ANOTHER plot twist that is almost impossible to resolve. I mean, this drama did not have to be this long.
