Literally! I thought i was the only one who's confused about what's happening. It had all the ingredients to become unforgettable & impactful but potential was wasted.
I absolutely agree on the 3 key moments you've mentioned because those are exactly the opportunities they can use to show growth on the main lead's relationship & their characters. I was probably looking for more angst given that there's secret identity, there's FL's father (traitor) and the political plot. Ugh!
Oh dear, you don't know how much your review is comforting me because unlike most of the people who are raving about it, i felt differently. I was looking forward to this drama since last year, and i had high hopes and expectations because i've watched dramas that are well-structured and well-written and romance and politics plots are both satisfying but this did a really poor job at that.
I also didn't feel much of the chemistry here. I'm just so disappointed really. I'd love to rave about it but a lot of things didn't work for me.
