I sped through the entire show so I'm a bit confused about the ending. When Lin Bei Xing traveled back for the last time, did she actually save Zhang Wan Sen?? If she did really save him and he knew she loved her bc he read her diary, why were they separated for so long in the present?
I didn't really understand if her flashbacks of the past actually end up changing the present. I read some comments saying she didn't really go back to the past but went to an alternate universe but I don't know which one is true. I also don't know if I missed parts of the show by watching it too fast but I felt like certain things in the present weren't consistent with the past when she went back and changed things then came back.
Anyways, my thoughts are that the angsty episodes towards the end were probably my favorite episodes !! It was so sad when Lin Bei Xing read Zhang Wan Sen's diary and she realized how much he did for her :(. I really really wished we got more of the present. It would have been so nice to see more of the two of them in the present and reunited!!
